Would not recommend going here if you don't have "easy" hair to "work with". Didn't even get the quote for my hair because I believe the stylists don't know how to handle my hair, which is fine, but the scrutiny and attitude wasn't needed. Came here once before a few years ago for my son to get a haircut and he was denied then as well. I'm multi-racial with predominantly "black" hair if I put it nicely..I feel if your hair isn't "silky and smooth", don't waste your time going.

I was denied service because the stylist said it would be "too expensive" for me.
I was told she was too busy for my appointment.
I was told they only do "simple and easy haircuts" and she couldn't accommodate me.
And worst of all, I was told the blow-dry would be too expensive for me, mind you, I went here because they ARE the cheap option.
If I were you I would avoid this place at all costs, it also smells like sweat and cigarette smoke in there as though a window hadn't been opened in years. Dingy and stale. The stylist did my a favor by not doing my hair.
I made an appointment with Anna (I was 8 minutes late that was my fault) and she had taken 3 other clients in the time. I had no issues with this and informed her I was there. When she finished with her current client we talked about the services I signed up for. She said she didn't know I had long her and said that they would charge me double, I told her I had no issues with waiting or being charged what was fair. She said they only do "simple and easy" haircuts at this salon and told me she would only do a wash and cut. I wanted to do the services and I signed up for and didn't want to leave the salon with sopping wet hair down my back. I felt insulted that she insisted the blow out would be too expensive for me as well as her beating around the bush. If she didn't want to do the work that day or didn't have the skill to do my hair, I would rather she just told me that straight away instead of wasting both our time. I told her to have a nice day and left. Absolutely repugnant behavior from this stylist and they make this salon took terrible.

I’ve been getting my hair cut at this location for almost twenty years. Would highly recommend Anna. Besides being a great hair stylist, she’s very professional but friendly.

i made an appt on line for thursday at 5pm, i called because i was gonna be a few minutes late to be nice and professional , an indian lady answered the phone she was rude.said i had te worst attitude i have ever encountered, i will never ever call this place, again, she literally hung up on me and i was being very kind to her. i am a manager for a retail business and i would never let myself or any employee ever treat a client in this manner, the entitlement attitude is out of hand. i know alot of people in the north shore and i have found out word of mouth will make you or break you. if i could give 0 stars i would
