Just stepped into my room! So spacious!! Comfy bed… I can even watch TV from the throne room!! Ok too much information, but seriously beats look at my small cellphone screen! :-p The clerk at the front desk is super cool, friendly and has great conversation… he even spoke French to me… (je parle aussi français)… The TV guide is awesome and the TV stations are great… not every hotel offers good station or guides.Rooms: Spacious, clean, got everything I need!Safety: I feel safe here!

Spacious and clean room. The let out couch in the living room area was a bit dated otherwise it was comfortable. The room had a very nice kitchen area with stainless steel appliances. The amenities include an indoor pool, hot breakfast, with some variety and a workout room. It is a very family friendly. The receptionist and staff were wonderful.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. My flight into Chicago changed to an earlier arrival and they allowed me to check in before the usual time. The room was very clean and I appreciated the wide variety of food selections in the lobby to purchase and cook in my room. The continental breakfast had everything I could’ve wanted. Staff was very helpful and getting a taxi and Uber were very easy. They’re even pet-friendly! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.Rooms: Very clean, lots of outlets and lamps.

Loved our stay! The manager and staff were all so good. We will definitely come again and stay here. Breakfast and evening wine and snacks were amazing. A special mention for Russell for being such a wonderful friendly support, we struck some great conversations and it made our stay even more beautiful! We had great time…

Stay at your own risk!! We arrived late on a Friday night to find our reservation was cancelled...instead of the 2 rooms we had reserved we were given 3 rooms on 3 different floors.1st floor's room had a dog playing fetch above it, 2nd floor room's hallway smelled of pot & urine, and 3rd floor's room we discovered the next morning had bed bugs. My cousin had bites all over. The hotel said we could use the free laundry to wash our clothes. Didn't bother to offer to wash these for us so we spent an hour and a half doing laundry Saturday night. They said they would try to find us a new room. The new room had dried blood on the pillow and bed cover. Needless to say that room went unused. When we asked at check-out on Sunday if we would get our stay comped the front desk said they would ask the manager and get back to us. 2 weeks later and it's been crickets.

I stayed for a few weeks, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was well-kept, spacious, and comfortable. If you’re lucky, they sometimes make spiced potatoes for breakfast, yum! Free laundry! Pet-friendly with designated pet waking areas, surrounding areas have beautiful prairie to walk around. The glen nearby has lots of food and shops. Would highly recommend!

Giving a 5-star review just because of the fact that this branch accepted Apple Pay as a payment method.Almost hit to the point in my life where I decided to sleep outside in Glenview on a cold day.Clean and comfortable bedroom & an excellent front desk service.

I'm not sure where all the love is coming from for this hotel as our stay wasn't as fabulous.Let's start with the good: the staff is kind & helpful, the pool area, laundry and fitness center was clean. The not-so-great-- the rooms are old and ours had a smell to it that wasn't too great. It also wasn't cleaned thoroughly. A tube of something was under our bed. There is no way to have a fan running because the thermostat only runs based on temp, no on-fan function. The breakfast needs LOTS of work. The eggs are made from powder and they were overly soggy/wet. In order to save space, they put the meat (bacon & sausage) all in the same dish warmer so the potatoes are SUPER soggy. Next the fruit options are so sub-par--blueberries and canned peaches. Let's not forget, there are red delicious apples and oranges available. I can tell you that oranges are out of season and lacking in quality. The red delicious apple is the least favorite variety amongst consumers. No thanks to all that. If they could get corporate to dig into diner preference or up the quality by just being a tad more creative, it would go miles! The walls are thin and you can hear everything in the halls. The place is noisy. My 7 year old even said it was too loud. We requested a top floor room for this reason and it was still loud. It likely would have been tough having others above us.In summary, we would not return as the price is not worth the return.

In all good conscience I cannot give Stay (away) Bridge Suites at 2600 Lehigh Street in Glenview, IL any star rating but Yelp made me select a star or they wouldn't post. So I give it one star under duress. I would not recommend anyone stay at this flea and bedbug trap at all. My story began on August 1, 2023 and ended on August 24, 2023 in a nightmarish way. When my wife and me made the reservation we requested a handicap friendly room as my wife is legally blind and has been recovering from a broken hip over the past several months. When we checked in on 8/1/2023 we were told that no handicap friendly rooms were available. This reservation was made May 15, 2023. Not one person called, emailed, or texted to inform us that there were no handicap rooms available. Our time there was most unpleasant due to a number of factors:Plainly speaking, the room they assigned us can best be described as seedy. The furniture was old, uncomfortable and smelled. We had to obtain a big blanket to cover the so-called sofa so we could sit on it. There was one tiny closet and a couple of small dresser drawers. The carpets were filthy and smelled musty. The bathroom was tiny with a tiny privacy door that barely cleared the toilet. There were no safety bars in the bathtub; one outside of the bathtub. Not a big help if have a fall in the tub.The bed had fleas and bedbugs; we know because we got bitten. By the way, the Stay (away) Bridge is a pet friendly hotel. On 3 separate occasions I viewed the cleaning staff cleaning and disinfecting the floors in the first floor lobby area because dogs shit all over the floor. The place always smelled of disinfectant.Another source of vile odor came from the public bathroom(s) on the main floor near the hotel lobby. It took them days to get someone in to repair the toilet. Most of the fitness center equipment was not working or working poorly. The laundry room has 5 washers and dryers. At one point 3 of the washers went down and remained that way for a few days. People were getting very testy because they couldn't do their laundry. Remember this hotel is supposed to be an extended stay facility. The straw that broke the camel's back for us is when the a/c went out on Wed. 8/23 thru Thursday 8/24. Just so happens the heat index in the glenview are was 113 degrees. They couldn't fix it properly and the the front desk flunky, CHAD MARTINSON comes up to our room with a fan. The thermostat in the room read 82 degrees. This moron brings a fan. Luckily, we were able to find a very nice Marriott close by that had a handicap room available with a/c that worked very well. You might be wondering why we didn't leave this flea bag earlier; we tried but all the hotels in the vicinity were booked solid in August. Folks, it's not over because when I checked out of this hotel Chad Martinson and his General Manager, another moron, MATTHEW CLAYSON promised to not charge me for the two nights we had no air conditioning. They billed me anyway and they charged me for a full week to boot. I've already put in a dispute with my credit card company. Oh, by the way, nobody even offered to try to find us another hotel to stay at as a courtesy.I don't know about other Staybridges, but if you decide to stay at this particular location you've been warned. Do so at your own risk. I think the county health department should be notified of this and that is probably my next step. These people essentially spoiled our stay in Glenview, IL. Good luck folks, you're going to need it if you stay at the Stay (AWAY)Bridge Suites at 2600 Lehigh Street in Glenview, IL.D.G. Sims

Great stay! We were here for a conference about 20 minutes away and this location was perfect. The hotel was hidden away from the main road so we never got any traffic noises. The only inconvenience was the first night when half of the spaces were blocked off for a paving crew to fix in the morning. After that was done, the lot looked great and parking wasn't an issue. Breakfast here was TOP NOTCH and I would stay again for that alone. Outside relaxing area is fantastic. Tables and grills available for use. The bathroom was a good size but there were a few stains on the carpet and odd smudges by where the hooks for our towels were, so we dried them on the hangers in the closet instead. Still, not enough bad things to give this any less than 5 stars. Front desk woman also went above and beyond when the business center printers were down. She printed our conference notes from the desk. Super super kind! Top floor stay also prevented us from hearing loud footsteps from upstairs neighbors.Safety: As two women, we felt safe the whole time. Even at night.Walkability: A car is required to see nearby attractions. However, a short uber/lyft ride will get you to the train station and then other parts of Chicago.Food & drinks: THE. BEST.

Great place for a few nights. Their breakfast bar is very nice for the price. Staff were really friendly and we loved the pet policy. The only area for improvement was many door jams were heavily rusted and could use repair. I will likely use this place again in the future.

The pool was very fun the last 3 nights. We came to visit Chicago for a vacation this hotel was a very nice getaway. Nice breakfast in the morning. Just enough room for a family of five. The beds and pillows were amazing!!!!!!
