I stopped in Michael's this evening to get some supplies for a Halloween party. The woman who helped me at the register was the one of the KINDEST HUMANBEINGS I HAVE MET. She had a goofy sense of humor, was incredibly helpful, and truly MADE MY DAY. I hope she reads this, thank you for being you, I hope the Boston Orioles have fantastic season next year!

Terrible experience this afternoon with Steve in the custom framing department Almost PAINFUL dealing with Steve....like pulling teeth to get him to offer ANY type of guidance...We had CUB World Series memorabilia...LOTS of it....he could have cared less what we had...couldn't get any type of comparable pricing...wouldn't VOLUNTEER...if it wasn't for my husband I would have told him off..instead we paid $161.33 to frame a precious momentous piece...I had plenty more..I was SEETHING..I did talk to an employee who assured me the manager (Stevie) would give me a nice discount on something...the employee then called Stevie over (manager)...she just apologized and thought I could come in again and meet with the framing manager (James)I don't doubt that Steve didn't know his stuffI do doubt if I would EVER deal with Steve again

Updating my review as I reflect on frustrations I've had with Michaels- we are living through a pandemic, more things to be frustrated with and more time to ruminate! I do yearn for simpler times when my phone number was tied into my "membership " and when I'd check out and input my phone number an appropriate discount would be applied. Now they've gone to a rewards system- the more you spend the greater your rewards. Now the onus is on you to bring a printout of said reward (maybe it's on my phone- I dunno) and let the cashier know to scan it. If you don't do that you blow the reward. Also, THE REWARDS EXPIRE - notice in the picture...it tells me it is expiring soon, it doesn't tell me when but it's soon. Wrong business practice, just wrong.
