Hawks was called for my tow by AAA. My 500 SL stays stored during the winter and the tires were flat when I needed to bring it out of storage for my yearly service. Hawks came to pick up the car. I had not started or driven the car since last year when I put it away. I handed the keys to John and stood back. He started the car and drove it up onto the flatbed. We headed to the dealer and as I went in to speak to my service rep. John drove the car off the truck and returned to his truck. As soon as my service guy opened the door to the car. The gapping rip in my seat was very evident and they immediately came to me and told me. You could tell it's a fresh rip. We tried to stop John before he pulled away but couldn't get his attention. I repeat I never sat in the seat and neither did anyone from the dealership. I called AAA and Loyola who is somehow affiliated with Hawks. I received a call from Salman from Hawks. I sent him pictures and he came out to look at the car. He literally told me it was my word against them. And I couldn't prove they did the damage. He will not pay to fix my seat. I would stay away from this company. These are not honest people who stand by their service. 2 grand in damage
