“This is a rave review for Masters and their employees. Before we engaged Masters to update our bathrooms, we had lived through two bathroom renovations and two kitchen renovations in other houses, and we knew that updates involve noise, mess, stress, and surprises. With Masters, thanks to Jennifer, Sandra, Sasha, and Zeljko, there was no noise, mess, or stress. Jennifer guided the design and had a great eye for color, while Sandra kept us in the loop on admin stuff, and Sasha came by to check on things. All of that is great, but it’s the day-in-day-out stuff that really drives you around the bend with updates, and that’s where Zeljko worked his magic. Every morning, he’d appear, lay cloths to protect the floor, and disappear into the bathroom. Occasionally we’d hear some noise, but not often. He made polite suggestions along the way that made the end result more functional and attractive. Of course, nothing can guarantee there won’t be surprises, because old houses are full of them, but the folks at Masters handled them quickly, quietly, and professionally. They are the zen masters of renovation.”

“Really nice people and good work! My family had to call them Friday night due to our plumbing being invaded by tree branches (after almost 30 years in that house the issue now becomes a problem ?). Mike came out the next day to see our home at no cost. By Thursday of the next week our old terra cotta pipes were located and replaced with pvc. They were always in touch and were happy to answer all of our questions. Totally deserve five stars!”

“I have been trying to update the hardware in my shower, but discovered the sizing is not standard. I figured out I needed some sort of adapter, but wasn't having any luck. Another business in Chicago said, "if anyone can help you, it's the Faucet Shoppe." Sadly this exchange happened over winter break when they were closed BUT I think it's commendable they close down and give their team a break. So rare to see these days.After the new year, I headed into their shop and long story short - they figured out that Toto used proprietary sizing in my condo and they couldn't easily help me - I would have to do more work than I wanted to do.Even though they couldn't help me, they couldn't have been nicer and were clearly knowledgable - I got further with them in less than 5 minutes than months (yes, months) of trying other places - both big box stores and locally owned shops.Should I decide to opt for that higher level of work, they will be my first and only stop.”

“It was my first time at Floor&Decor, currently in the process of rehabbing a home and heard really great things about the store! Seriously can't believe it took me this long to step foot in here, by far the best pricing and great quality tile, stone etc you will find in Chicago. When you walk in it can be overwhelming because of how many incredible options there are, but that's where their incredible designers come in to play. On my first visit Jordann (designer) spent an hour or two walking through the wall/floor tile section with me and bringing my ideas and vision to life! She had so many great ideas and her patience and input was so valuable, I went in with an inspiration and left with concrete designs for all three bathrooms and backsplash of my kitchen. She made me feel so much better and excited about the entire process. I took my designs home and came back a few days later to make the purchase order and Jordann was off that day, but Taylor (designer) who is also amazing, was already up to date on my entire design concept, as Jordann had already filled her in and she helped execute some last minute changes and with processing our order. I'm really so impressed, bc not only are they great at what they do, their service is free! It's like getting an interior designer included in your tile purchase! I'm a Huge Fan!! Also shoutout to Daniel at the Pro Desk who also helped me get set up on my pro account, because if you work in the industry (contractor, realtor, etc.) you qualify for a pro account and can get points on your spend! Also, the cuts were not great as it looks like the blade they used is not in the best shape. I would definitely come here again but I don't think I'll be paying for wood cutting here in the future.”

“My wife and I just discovered this store recently. They have the most cutting-edge kitchen appliances that I've seen at any store. They let us shop and look around without bothering us. But at the same time, salespeople were available for questions. The employees were so nice that they let us shop for an extra 15 minutes after the store closed and didn't even say anything. Quite frankly, my wife and I weren't aware of the store hours.The products here are very expensive but they are from the best quality brand names.”
