Where to start... terrible customer service. I have tried to remiadiate the situation but I strongly recommend you find another bank and avoid dealing with this one.

Not even a member here but here's my story... went to their location on Chestnut street in Glenview to get money out of their atm. Upon arrival the atm displayed no "out of order" screen nor was there any sign stating the atm was broken or out of cash. . so I went ahead and began to make a withdrawal. After entering my pin and selecting the amount of cash I needed, upon finalizing the withdrawal by agreeing to the service charge fee the atm then tells me it has no money ...on top of that they still pulled the money from my account. It took two weeks to get my money back...crooks

After a few email exchanges David K had restored my faith in GSB It is my experience a good judge of credibility is not how someone does their job, but how well they resolve issue GSB has renewed my faith in local banks and I believe given what they related to me has a long future Worst Bank Ever!! Promise to call you back than don't; then when I call them back- I am on hold for 20 min while these fools fumble around for an answer. Don't ask questions, just read the script in their manual. So much for appreciating your customers. I am always supportive of local businesses. However, this bank is a dinosaur than needed to be sold to a multinational conglomerate years ago. GSB would not wave a prepayment penalty within 60 days of the expiration date for a family that has been customers for decades. Oh, they will take care if you.... ha!!!!
