I love this Costco, but I had a frustrating experience recently. A lady bumped into my mom and just said, 'Be careful,' instead of apologizing. When I pointed this out, the cashier, who witnessed everything, ignored it. It felt like a lack of accountability, and I couldn't help but wonder if there was an element of racism involved. It was disappointing to see no support or responsibility in that situation.

I love this Costco but I’m giving 3 stars because of the guy at the self checkout counter. He is so rude. This is my second interaction with him in this way. I have complained about him to management but I’m not not sure if that can change anything. The the guy gets agaigited for no reason. Asking him a question is like an insult to him and he is very disrespectful in his manner. I will try to go to a differnt Costco or avoide this guy completely because he seems to enjoy irritating others. He isn’t fit to serve in a direct customer service position. May be giving him a position away from the interaction of people might help. He isn’t a people person at all.

The cleanest Costco I’ve been to. The selection of items is far superior to the city based Costco and the staff is so helpful. Worth the drive here once a month or so to get the superior shopping experience.

Worst unfriendly cashiers ever, bought 100 vitamins to send overseas when cashier saw my cart full her face turned angry mood like I’m getting something from her, this happened not once

I love Costco but this location is by far the worst one. Workers here are not trained in customer service! Staff look and act burned out, don’t smile, and I literally heard staff bitching about work to fellow staff, so unprofessional. I mean if you don’t want to work there, quit and find another job.
I also had another cashier give me attitude about having ID to purchase liquor which was the first for me at my age. He gave such attitude and was so officious and said “well it’s Illinois law”. Well if that’s the case then be consistent with that policy after 10 friggen years buying liquor there.
Anyway the checkers with the yellow markers after paying are useless! How can you possible eyeball all my groceries!! Do they really think I’m gonna steal something after going thru checkout?!
Management product loss goes thru your employees not shoppers!!

FYI They will turn you away at the door trying to use someone else's membership card. So, if you want to send your son or your daughter to pick up a grocery list it won't work. Since you can't add a third person to your membership, you'd have to purchase an additional membership for your child due to this new crackdown. I couldn't use my dad's membership card even though I used the membership online a week before and the membership card 5 minutes before at the gas station. So dumb.
Sam's Club is worlds better. They have no problem with membership card sharing and they even have Scan and Go.

Many great priced items. But I wish the membership cost was lower as I don’t shop much so I don’t get the value of the membership. The membership costs supplement the product cost but I don’t buy a lot.
