This store did not let me buy a lottery ticket on my 18 birthday. I provided my Illinois drivers license and the attendee refused to sell me a lottery ticket. He said you had to be 18 for 24 hours, and this was completely incorrect as it turns out in the Illinois statutes easily accessible on the internet, as well as local Glenview ordinances only require you to be 18 years of age, not 18 years and 1 day. Very disappointing. Thanks for ruining my birthday.

I had an unusually excellent experience here just this morning.
My car broke down right at the pump. It took quite a while for the tow truck to show up. The whole time the gentleman from India was gracious and helpful. He was kind and patient as I blocked their pump denying them business at the pump until the tow arrived. If only there were more like him.

BEWARE WHEN PAYING CASH. Attendant will select 93 premium without asking you. If the pump doesn't allow you to select fuel grade, the attendant selected premium inside. They've done this to multiple people I know hoping you don't notice and pay extra.

I went to the station with a $25.00 gift card, it wouldn't work at the pump. When I questioned the attendant inside, he said it had a zero balance, but I had not gotten any gas and it originally said it had $25.00. He was extremely rude and embarassing and told me it was not his problem. When I tried the pump again it would not work, I went inside and asked him when I call the phone number on the back of the card can he vouch that I never got any gas if the company says this is where my transaction took place. He again told me very rudely it was not his problem. Well I got home and the card has a credit of $25 on it (must have done it after I left) But I will never go to that station again!

Glenview Marathon is located on the west side of Waukegan Road, across the street from Jennings Chevrolet. The station was clean and had plenty of squeegees and paper towels at all of their pumps. They had coin operated compressed air and vacuum vending appliances. I paid by credit card and was able to print a receipt at the pump. Cash customers could take a $0.05 discount per gallon. My receipt indicates you can save 2% by purchasing a $50 prepaid Marathon debit card.
