Love Fur Dogs is by far the best dog grooming place in the area. Before coming to them, everywhere i went left my dog looking bad and just didn’t do a good job. From the very first time I came to Love Fur Dogs, and every other time since, they do an amazing job. The place is very clean as you walk in. The staff is amazing, and the grooming is spectacular. They deserve a 10/5 stars.

Love fur dogs is a great environment for dogs with loving personalities and people to take care of your dogs. My personal and other people’s favorite request is MR Erik Cuturic handles every dog with care and love and makes sure your dogs gets the proper and appropriate treatment each dog gets. Highly recommended to all.

Love Fur Dogs truly stands out as a fantastic grooming spot. The cleanliness of the place and the incredible friendliness of the staff immediately caught my attention. The level of detail they seek for the perfect cut - whether it’s round ears, the length around the mouth, or the right size for the legs and upper head - was something new and impressive to me. Initially, I wasn’t sure about the specifics of the grooming I wanted, but their team was incredibly supportive in helping me decide. After a few hours, when I came back to pick up my dogs, they not only smelled wonderful but also looked better than ever. I’m thoroughly impressed and plan to be a loyal customer from here on out. Truly the best grooming experience!

The owner doesn’t take care of animals in a human way. They had us schedule our appointment two months in advance. Then dropped off our dog, waited 5 hours for them to call us back explaining they had been working on her all day. We felt it was odd. They were asking for a substantial increase in the price given the difficulty. We live right down the road so decided to stop over and check on her and they hadn’t even started on her. Overall it felt very crooked and fraudulent. I’d recommend considering more human places to have your dog cared for here.

How could they have had her there for 5 hours AFTER HER APPT time and done nothing?!? Is what you’ll be saying after a visit here! The groomer called me 5 hours after her appointment to tell me our mini poodle would either need to be shaved or we’d have to be charged significantly for a de-matting. The thought of how she could be calling me 5 hours after my dogs appointment was appalling. With the holiday upon us I speculated they were running far behind schedule and unwilling take the time my dog needed to give her a brushing. I offered to pick her up immediately as the thought of her likely caged up in the back of the shop all day sounded sad and cruel to me. Upon arrival I was shocked to see my poor pup wet, unbrushed and shivering with the grooming pretending to work on her. She didn’t even smell as though she had been washed down with anything but water! The kicker of all this is the shop knew we wanted to keep our poodle’s hair long. We set appointments on a scheduled interval in order for this to work. When we dropped her the groomer assessed our dogs hair and said she was good for the wash & brush out. Love fur dogs should in fact be called no love fur dogs because all they want to do is quickly shave your pup & move onto the next in line. If you value your dogs locks this is not the groomer for you. Leaving your loved one caged up all day waiting for this grand shaving sounds like cruelty to me. We will not be back ever!

Melisa and her team as as good as it gets. I refuse to get my dog groomed anywhere else! Make sure to book ahead of time - they fill up quickly and understandably so. Thanks for always making my Goose look and feel so good!

I adapted to formally feral kittens. One of them, the more scared one, took a very long time to let me pet her by choice. Because she is a long-haired cat, who was cut free from being matted to a fence as a kitten, she was a bit of a hot mess. Short haired, cats do not require grooming necessarily. But long-haired cats absolutely do. To say I was anxious for her first grooming is an understatement. I stayed nearby certain they were going to call me and say she is done... meaning she won't let us touch her. Not only did that not happen, but I think she actually liked it lol. She was pretty full of herself looking all beautiful when I got her home. The staff was amazing, and I could not have been happier.

Look no further! I wouldn't go to another groomer thats for sure. This salon is nothing short of Amazing Im always treated with professionalism and kindess. they deliver consistent service and my dog always looks absolutely adorable when I pick him up. The best part is he’s never stressed or anxious like he used to be at my ex groomers. I know that When I drop my furbaby off hes treated with love and respect and that so matters to us! Thank you guys, Truly!

Best grooming salon award for a reason!! My dogs and I have been to a few salons we moved from California and Came to Illinois about 8 months ago What stood out to me the most was the transmutable energy of how quickly connected my dogs become upon greeting staff on the first day! since then my dogs are happy when I tell them we are going to the groomers. Before they used to defy and not want to get out of the car. At love Fur Dogs they are scrambling to get in the door. when you know, you know, and I know that my dogs are treated will here. and they always come back extra fluffy beautiful and smelling fantastic . booking monthly is easiest for us because i like their hair long and i also do brush them in between grooms after some of the tips from staff. thank you guys wooHooooo!!
