My Bestie & I made a quick visit to Jill Alberts Jewelry store today to look for a gift. The person working didn't exactly offer a friendly greeting - her rude tone & mannerisms felt like more of an interrogation, leaving us both feeling uncomfortable. I was standing in front of one of the cases looking at some ordinary & overpriced bracelets when she felt the need to stand right in front of me & open the display drawer in front of me saying she "had to get a charm out." Really? At the exact second?? We were the only people in the store, so it's not as if she was opening it for someone else. Good news for us, we were warmly welcomed at every other store on the block & we quickly dropped ~ $500. As a long time Glencoe resident, it's disappointing to have a merchant with such petty behavior in our village & I couldn't be happier to shop at Hudson & Grace, Valentina & The Black Sheep General Store.
