“This is a great thrift in a great little downtown area in Glen Ellyn. Lots of great, higher-end decorations and homewares that you don't see in other thrift stores. They had some smaller pieces of furniture like chairs and coffee tables that all looked in great condition. In the back of the store there are racks of nice clothing. I didn't see anything that was dirty, smelled, torn, or damaged.”

“This review is in response to "Cynthia Dukes" review.......I have had the luxury of being associated with the owner, staff, and the overall "vibe" of Kelsey Resale for for the last year and a half. I have never been exposed to such a positive group of people and place of business in my 57 years of being on this planet. I have personally got to know everyone that works there and every single individual I have met has made me a better person. The way that they conduct themselves should be the model for every small business. Please keep in mind that I come from a completely different professional background, which is why I have been so impressed.Here is where it gets dicey, Cynthia Duke has personally attacked the "Owner" which also happens to be my Wife. My Wife, the "Owner" is a lot of things, none of which even come close to what Cynthia is describing. She is the best human being on this planet that I have ever met. She is sweet, caring, selfless, humble, and possibly the most compassionate woman ever. I also think that she is the most beautiful person ever! BUT, she also has a business to run, sometimes the inventory items that she has to take in for consignment may be of significant value to the consigner, but not necessarily be of value to Kelsey Resale, which is why I feel Cynthia is attacking my Wife. It is just the business model that has made Kelsey Resale successful. There is no need for anyone to take it personally.You can attack the business model, attack me, but to attack my Wife is way out of bounds Cynthia!”
“This store is absolutely gorgeous! Inventory is amazing, prices are awesome and staff is super friendly. My go-to place for great finds! Highly recommend if you are furnishing a home or just redecorating. If you want to sell furniture or decor, their consignment process is super easy too.”
“I love Frocks and Frills! The owner is so kind and you can tell all the hard work she puts into the shop. All of the vintage clothing is measured and organized by measurements which is a game changer for shopping vintage, I was even measured in store to make it an easier shopping experience! Overall, this store is a treasure trove of vintage and definitely a must stop every time I visit Wheaton!”
“A sizeable Goodwill location; some of the housewares were very disorganized, other areas were better. Lots of clothes, and there are dressing rooms to try things on. Watch for the sticker color of the week that is half off! Found some clothing and home goods here”
“First time visiting here with my adult daughter. This is by far the best resale shop I’ve been to. Everything is organized so well, clean and prices are very reasonable. I have a trunk full of items I will be donating knowing they will be able to use them. Daughter bought a couple of items too.”
“I absolutely love this store!! The prices are amazing! The sales are strong. The clothes are in great shape. Everything is authenticated. It's hard to shop elsewhere. If you have not checked this store out you are really missing out! Free People, Lululemon, Kate Spade, coach, LV, Fendi, and on and on ! Desiree one of the associates was so helpful and cheerful. My friend amd I spend hours just shopping and Desiree was patient and fun with us! Made the experience even better. Thank you Desiree!”
“5 stars. The poor reviews and experiences are very shocking to read because I've only had pleasant experiences with this shop and its owner over the years. I began shopping & consigning here over ten years ago. I found the experience to be convenient and extremely helpful. Catrina has great style and can find pieces that will complement your shape and aesthetic. Some of my favorite pieces were amazing finds from this shop. My fur was a GREAT deal! Several purses and accessories. Dresses and special occasion wear, too. I will say that she is very selective when selecting piece to consign and I appreciate that. I prefer to shop high quality items versus a high quantity of items. I appreciate that she will try and sell items on eBay as well as in the store to increase the odds of sale. She's always been great about supporting community efforts and has a philanthropic spirit around certain causes. If you didn't have a pleasant encounter with this store, I encourage you to return and share what wasn't to your liking. An honest conversation and an open heart can make a huge difference. I will continue to support this local shop whenever I can.”

“I've enjoyed coming in to this spot the past few years. There's always interesting finds and the staff is super chill and easy to talk to. Last time I was bringing in clothes and Catherine was super helpful throughout the whole interaction. Even when I was sure there wasn't a lot of stuff in my size, she helped me find some really cool pants and Old Skool Vans. Will for sure continue to support this location ?”
