I have done several cooking classes and this is the first place I have ever been to that does not allow you to take any of your leftovers home. I was severely disappointed. Sur La Table, Pizza Culinary Academy, Webber Grill all allows people to take any left overs home with them. This was very disappointing.
Everything else was great, polite staff, the chef was very personable and knowledgeable and I over all had a great experience. The price seemed to be in line with other classes in the area but again, being denied our leftovers really bothered me.

My work hosted a cooking class for all its Employees! We had the best time! Chef Amy was amazing!!! We learned new techniques & made the best pasta! The entire experience was flawless from start to finish! From working with Brandy while booking, to the store employees, everyone was knowledgeable & attentive to our needs & questions we had. I would highly recommend Marcels for a work event or just a fun class with friends or family!!! Thank you again & I will definitely be coming back!!!! Aggie C.

We hosted a couples wedding shower/cooking class at Marcel’s. The most fun I’ve ever had at a shower. Everyone got to cook, and the food turned out great. Chef Brandy was well organized and explained everything. The bride and groom loved it! And all I had to do was send out the invitations :)

I took my 4 granddaughters to the family cooking class. We had chef Heather as our teacher for the evening and she and her helpers were beyond patient with us and encouraging my young granddaughters throughout the whole amazing evening. What a memory making night for us all as they tried new edible delights and chopped and mixed their way to a fabulous meal that we all enjoyed. Thank you for a great evening. This is my 4th visit to Marcel's and they never disappoint!!

I just had my knives sharpened at Marcel’s and they are LIKE NEW!! My 30ish year old Henckels knives are one of my prized possessions and they truly feel like they’re new all over again. I dropped them off late Monday and they were ready the next morning! I love Marcels for so many reasons and now I have another one! I Highly recommend!!

Dave and I attended the French Spring cooking class last night - what fun - as these classes always are! Chef was relaxed, engaging, and had a great menu for us. Great wine during class. Marcel helpers took good care of us. Took advantage of the store discount to pick up a couple things for me and as gifts. Best store ever Jill!!

I hosted a bridal shower here and couldn't recommend it more! The staff handles every detail so you just show up and have a great time. Delicious food, lovely space, and attentive staff makes for easy hosting!

We hosted my cousin's baby shower here this weekend and everything was fabulous! Chef Kelly was very entertaining and made the environment super relaxing. For those who wanted to participate, she was helpful and we learned some new tricks and tips for the kitchen! Not to mention, the food was INCREDIBLE. We had a lemon orzo salad, potato salad, two toasts - one caprese and one with shaved carrots and greens, and also a cake with caramel - SO GOOD. Highly recommend having an event here! I can't wait for the recipes so I can make everything at home.
