Store is good to shop.

I do enjoy shopping at Jewel, especially while using their Just 4 U program. That being said, this location specifically is often a miss for me. The produce is not as good of quality as the Jewel 2 miles down the road, and I have purchased expired items before. Now I make sure to double check my expiration dates before adding items to my cart. The staff is friendly, but not friendly enough to come to this location over my local jewel.

I came to this location because it was close to a hair cuttery and a pizza place I like. The parking lot in front of Jewel isn’t as good as some of the other ones. This one seemed a bit more cramped. The store itself is the same. Items we needed were stocked. Employees were kind and helpful. I would not go out of my way to come back to this location, I would try another Jewel.

I never had a problem with this Jewel the staff are so professional when I couldn't find some item I asked a employee where it was and he took me to the item instead of telling me where it was. I recommend this jewel-osco to the residents in the area.

Sylvia in grocery is horribly rude and harsh. How someone like this works with the public is ridiculous, let alone is allowed to be a manager. She rolls her eyes when you ask her for help and everything is a hassle.

I was waiting at the deli and the old woman behind the counter finally makes eye contact and says what do you need? I asked for a pound of this cheese and she pointed at the display behind me saying there's some over there already cut. I said I know, can you please cut some for me? She had an attitude and started slamming stuff around and luckily this was the only thing I wanted from the deli because she tossed it on the counter and walked away. I was honestly shocked, having worked in a similar store deli for many years this is absolutely not acceptable. If you're not feeling human that day, stay home!! I'll drive to another grocery for my needs.

Every time I come in here, I have problems with the people who work produce. Specifically John, an older male. He’s been very ignorant on multiple occasions that i’ve been there. I’m not sure how he is still employed given his attitude and disrespect with customers. When i shop at jewel, i want to be in and out, not talked about by the Jewel employees. John should not be working with customers and i am willing to take it up to corporate. This jewel sucks.

I try to not come to this jewel but its convenient for me since its 2 minutes down the road from my home. I usually drive 10 minutes to another jewel but was running low on time today. Produce workers are always rude at the loacation. I was looking for a ripe honey dew and an older gentleman told me "just pick one already" in a rude tone of voice. I only gave 1 star because the cashier was very nice. I wish I remembered her name. She apologized about the man being rude which she shouldn't have to apologize for someone else's actions.

Went in for a few things last night. Went to the chip aisle and found it was so fresh and so clean. Had to snap some pics.

Standard Jewel could benefit from a remodel. It's a perfectly fine grocery store. I shop here 3-4 times per week and spend about $200-300 each week. The problem is with some of the cashiers. There's one in particular who is just unpleasant. At first I thought maybe she wasn't trained properly but there's something more. Today I neatly stacked everything on the belt. I explained that the first half of my order had the additional $2 off bakery coupons on each item. Well, she missed two of the coupons so then she just rescanned the items to take off the coupons without voiding the two items she scanned and failed to apply the coupons towards. My total was $33 and I knew it should only be $21. I tried to explain the situation to her several times and she wasn't hearing it. She used an authoritative tone. I'm going back and forth with her and she's refusing to budge. It wasn't until a store manager approached that she magically found her error and started voiding the individual items. At this point I no longer wanted to deal with her. The manager actually removed her from the register and voided the whole order to start over. Sure enough, as soon as he scanned everything currently the total was $21. Now, I'm a mixed race woman so I don't know if that had anything to do with the interaction but the whole thing was unnecessary and she didn't need to act that way. She was so adamant that she wasn't wrong and refused to just listen and correct her mistake. Get her off the registers and put her in the bakery department or something. After this morning's interaction, I will not deal with her again. I'm still debating if I should call Albertsons to complain.

I really hate to complain but I just went to this jewel today and am absolutely shocked and extremely disappointed … While I was in the produce section by the salads, I noticed the door open to the prep area (for the deli I think?) and as I glanced I saw one of the workers cough straight into her hand and then grab a spoon to start preparing whatever dish she was making without washing her hands— yuck! I’ll be sure to not buy the store made products… And at checkout, the woman bagging our groceries was quite literally throwing our bags and was very hostile toward my mother and me… We had 2 carts worth of stuff and I tried preventing our groceries from getting crushed by rearranging the cart (without getting in her way or saying anything to avoid upsetting her), but I must have failed because she was essentially acting territorial toward me for touching them with growls, grunts, shaking her head at me, and angry stares. I would get it if I was nagging her, but my mom and I didn’t say anything. She even started shouting across the store to a coworker, “ I’m so done with this I’m going home” as she shook her head in disgust at us. We spent over $350 and i didn’t want our groceries to be damaged… but I guess that was too lofty of an expectation.
