Not only does this facility have the rudest receptionist in the world but it also has not great quality doctors. Brought my dog in and they fought me the entire time when I knew my dog needed steroids and an anti-fungal cream and they said he was struggling with hot spots. Go to Wheaton Animal Hospital. They are cheaper, higher quality, and don't slam the phone down on you for asking to talk to someone to clarify care instructions

Kelly has groomed our dog for 12 years and we absolutely love her! Our Maddie is a Golden mix and she has a very thick coat. I know that it is a lot of work for Kelly. We appreciate her exceptional skills. She is always very kind and gentle with Maddie!❤️

Our puppy always has a good experience when he visits the Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital. He recently had to go in for multiple visits because of a sensitive area issue. His doctor was amazing, thorough, and kind. The front desk was helpful and patient as well. This is why we continue to choose this animal hospital.

Roccio (I may have the name misspelled) who did our cat's nail trimming was AWESOME. I would love to have her again every time we bring Luan back for the trimming. The counter staff seemed pre-occupied with their computers - thus, the four stars. Roccio would be a five-star.

Took my dog in for some shots and had the vet check my dogs front paws because she looked like she was limping, the vet prescribed a pill to work and so far, it seems to be working will have them look at the front paws again in September.

They do such an excellent job of dogs not being in main wait room at the same time if possible. They really spread out the appts and get your dog in exam room as soon as possible. And the gals at front desk always SO nice!

I appreciate that making appointments is very easy and that Dr. Mottel is helpful in trying a lot of different solutions to help my cat's infection. We haven't found a solution yet, but Dr. Mottel is very responsive when we call with our concerns. She's also very gentle with my cats during their checkups to make them feel comfortable.
My only problem I've had thus far here is that when I was paying at the reception desk, the receptionist announced my home address, including apartment number and town to ask me if it was still correct. There was a man standing next to me with the other receptionist who could clearly hear my address. I'm sure the whole room could hear it. I wish she had just showed me her screen or written it down for me to confirm. It made me and my husband uncomfortable that our home address was shared so blatantly like that.
Overall, GE animal hospital is much more professional than other animal hospitals we've tried, but that incident was odd to me.

For over 13 years brought my dog here. You’d think there would be some level of recognition, personalization, sincerity. They act like they don’t know him or care about him every time. We brought him in two years ago for what we told them was a sprained neck. The ‘doctor’ that examined him looked me in the eyes and said it’s terminal bone cancer he needs to stay for tests and X-rays but it was likely he’d have only weeks left to live. As you can imagine my fear, I put the trust and my wallet in their hands. Thousands of dollars and tears later they emailed (not even a call) emailed that it was just a sprained neck as we had originally said, here’s some Tylenol, have a good day. He lived another 2 amazing years. But in these last years they prescribed him anti seizure medication that if he missed a dose he’d have little tremors occasionally. To continue his refills for life saving medication (that they prescribed to begin with) they required blood work and exams every few months. Hundreds of dollars every few months for them to continue medicine a dog was relying on to live a healthy life. More money in their pocket right so what do they care? Sadly we had to put our dog down last night. We didn’t even take him to GEAH because we didn’t want his last moments with these people. We took him to VAC animal hospital where they seem to show more compassion for the animals and owners. He had another appointment though at GEAH yet again for more blood work this upcoming Monday just to refill that same needed prescription. I called to cancel the appointment and the receptionist didn’t even ask why or if I need to reschedule just cancel click on to the next. This practice is so disassociated from their clients. Money is their only concern, not the animals in their care sadly. Take your fur baby anywhere else.
