Every pharmacist/pharm tech I've ever come in contact with has been rude. Thought it was a fluke...nope. Don't even make eye contact anymore just stand in line wait my turn and get out as quickly as possible. I miss Walgreen's but insurance prefers CVS.

It seems they are really making an effort. The pharmacy called me personally to remind me to refill prescriptions that were due which I excellent because I alway forget. Inside the store they are working hard and doing everything they can for overly entitled people. Just be nice and say thank you.

Anyone notice pharmacy hours ?Closed 130 till 200. But add 10 mins before and after to account for closing and reopening. Plan your day accordingly.

I walk in and the ENTIRE store smelled like a baby diaper. There was clearly some sort of issue in the place. It was so bad I couldn't even shop for 5 mins to get my stuff, I had to leave.

I was in the store to get a couple things for my kids who are sick. I was never greeted and when I tried to ask for help Beverly was on her cellphone and was very loud. I waited and waited and she never got off her phone. Very rude.

No one in the front of t he store or at the counter for 11 min into my trip until went to the back and asked her to come to the front. Once the cashier came to the front. Oh boy, the attitude was uncalled for. Rudeness at its peak. WOW! Definitely not coming to this location again.

Two questions:1-Why would associate approval be necessary to purchase peanut butter pretzels ?2-Why wasn’t there a single employee in the store to provide assistance?I understand cutting costs, but it can’t be at the expense of the customer experience. I left without my peanut butter pretzels and won’t be returning.

Do you want to murder an oak tree for buying a pack of gum? Well, then this is your place. A mile long receipt for anything you buy. Pharmacy is open for a total of around 19 minutes per day. Walgreens 4 life.

Walgreens is way better. please stay open for lunch, I'm talking to you pharmacist. Pharmacy also closes at 6 which seems way early. Once again the Walgreens on Roosevelt is 24/7.

Horrible pharmacy. Prescription was for 90 days, they didn't have it so got a new prescription for 30 days. Went to pick up. Wanted to charge me $200 because it wasn't a 90 prescription any more. I asked why, respons was we have that they have the 90 day now. I asked for that she declined. They seriously have no idea what they are doing. GOING BACK TO WALGREENS IN LOMBARD. STAY AWAY FROM THISSTORE

Picked up two of three prescriptions on 07/28/2022. I was not informed the 3rd would not be filled unless I called. Also, pharmacist on duty was quite brisk, and rude. If they were not my preferred pharmacy I would go back to Walgreens. Name brands they do not carry in stock, and when transferred from Walgreen's one was not filled for more than 3 weeks, when I caught the error. I was told they do not carry that drug, then why did you accept the transfer from Walgreens? It is close to the bus location, and my previous Walgreens was great but hours to 6pm during the week and can no longer get my name brand drugs my doctor orders for me as Generics generally do not work for me since I have Hashimotos. Today, the pharmacist was extremely rude when I tried to order a controlled Med. Saying that can not automatically be refilled, I do understand that, but it was sent electronically by my doctor on 07/27/2022. If I had not called it would not have filled at all. They never have the home covid tests covered by insurance always out of stock since I started there in March, 2022. In January, I am switching to another pharmacy elsewhere. Avoid CVS at all costs. Glad I did not get a Covid test here, read other reviews good to know. I already switched from Walgreens earlier this year, who is way overcrowded and no longer my preferred pharmacy.

I’m so sorry to be reading such poor reviews for this CVS. Granted, I have only been inside a few times over the past couple of years, and, yes - the service was indeed lacking. My 4 stars (not 5 because of the hours) however, were well earned by the drive-thru pharmacy! When I was required to do weekly PCR testing for work, my two different Walgreens stores were either overworked, overwhelmed, or both. Despite their statements that each store did testing the same, 100% they did not. Each pharmacist had their own way of handling it. In addition, booking a PCR test online was always a challenge. Nothing was ever easy.I decided to look at the CVS website and was amazed at all the slots that were open — and so far in advance, too! I first tried the CVS on NaperBlvd by Danada. The first visit was great! The 2nd and 3rd, not so much. Then I tried this one on Roosevelt Rd. in GE. Every single time, I was greeted, treated with proficiency and kindness, and followed the exact same procedure every single time. Walgreens could really take a lesson from CVS on this aspect because CVS has it down like clockwork.I just switched all my Rx from Walgreens to this CVS because of the great experiences I’ve had at the drive-thru. I hope it continues. :-)
