“Convenient. Got books you need for class, stationary supplies, book bags, school swag, and candy. Everything slightly more expensive but when you need those gloves for lab it's worth it.Order ahead for stressless pickup.”
“2008 Out of Office Countdown of George W. Bush (Calendar) -yes they published one! The calendar which stops on the last day of the current presidency is filled with funny pics of GW and all the word mangling EVER! "Sourcebooks stands today as one of the leading independent book publishers in North America." - taken from their website.”
“In a world where bookstores have all but disappeared due to the digital age and competition, it is nice to see Barnes and Noble is still thriving. This location is a nice entrance into Oakbrook Mall. This location has 2 stories with a Starbucks located on the second level.”
“Anderson's Bookshop is a community treasure. Every single community needs a book store like this.I love the book selection, friendly staff, rewards program, and amazing events. Because of Anderson's Bookshop, I have attended some amazing book readings from Kristin Hannah to Jodi Picoult.”
“My 4 year old and I visited today for the first time. The owner did a wonderful job showing us around, asking about our interests, and helping us find some great picks. She started with my son and once he'd grabbed books like it was a library, she showed him where he could peruse his finds so I could have the chance to find something for myself. She helped him find a bookmark he was excited about, which she makes herself. She also helped me reinforce the book limit I set for him, even though he ended up deciding to use his own earned money on the rest he'd selected. She even asked me first if he could pick a candy, which I especially appreciated since my other child has a food allergy. The books are in very good condition, for having all been donated. We had a nice afternoon enjoying our new books and will definitely be back!”

“Absolutely love this place. I wish more book stores could be like this. Amazing selection with a little bit of everything and anything it feels like. The man I spoke to while I was there nerded out with me over laserdiscs and that was the most fun I had in a while. The prices from what I bought were absolutely amazing. If you love books, manga, comics, music, and even laserdiscs, I highly suggest you check this place out!”

140 Della Ct, Carol Stream“I've lived close by for 20 years and never realized that they have a mini store right inside the main entrance with children's books, Bibles, study guides and some fiction books, all at discounted prices. The staff person was kind and helpful, I'll be returning!”
“A fun bookstore with every title you can imagine. I loved the different book set ups in the kids area. They also have a train station table which my daughter loves. My only feedback is I wish they had more areas to sit down and read a few of the books. My toddler brought back a stack of books she wanted to flip through. We made it work and found a spot on the floor. I highly recommend Anderson's, I can't wait to be back solo to check out other titles.”
“After visiting a couple art studios in woodfield mall where I had to talk myself into being even mildly interested in the pieces, I discovered Jen's Art through a Google search. Every piece jumped out at me. Her work is creative and inspiring.”
“Really neat bookshop. Wide range of books and items. One of my favorite places to buy crystals, sage and tarot cards. Super friendly staff. Overall a great place!”

800 S Rohlwing Rd, Addison“What a great facility! A little confusing on the check in…. I think you need to check in before you shop. I don’t really know. I’ve been here a few times and each time, I find cool things for my classroom. Lately, I’ve need stem stuff for an afterschool club and scarce has not disappointed with options or ideas. Thank you.”

255 Town Square, Wheaton“A cozy book shop hidden just south of town. There is a good variety of topics and the woman working there was a pleasure to talk to. It's definitely a great spot for a book lover to stop in!”
“I will admit that I wasn’t smart enough to attend here, but I am now smart enough to shop here! Great selection of swag and gifts for all my Wheatie friends. There’s easy parking out front and super pleasant staff within! GO THUNDER! (Wait, do they say that!?)”
“I LOVE finding treasures in the impressive variety at Half-Rice Books. One of my two favorite stores to browse. Thanks to all those that pass on their used books to HPB, allowing others to enjoy them as well ?”
“I loved that it has that" old books" smell. For me personally, I love that. But here I feel it's not very overwhelming. You get a hint of it. To be honest, It didn't look like a typical second hand bookstore! The shelves are clean and neat and well ordered. It is very much organised and you can easily browse..there are also chairs to sit on. Will definitely be back! I got a surprise set of books that I found quite worth the price! There are also free books at the entrance on the left”
“I ordered 4 puzzles and the packaging was fantastic, even after the delivery driver tossed the box at least 20 feet to deliver it, we are one of his last stops on his route. The exterior box was dented, but the puzzle boxes were not. I will definitely order again from this company. Thank you.”
“Most of the workers are absolutely lovely! A few are a bit rude and make you feel like you are a bother. Some customers are creepy but not much you can really do about that other than be careful when you have to give your number to the cashier. They have a solid selection and overall it's enjoyable to go.”

800 S Rohlwing Rd Unit D, Addison“This place is a hidden gem for media lovers. They have a great selection of records and CDs, as well as DVDs and books. The priced are very reasonable. They may not have everything you're looking for, but that's the fun of used record stores.”
“This is a good store to go to if you’re shopping for calendars. Make sure you go when they are heavily discounted. I went today and it was 75% off. We were able to get two calendars for $6.73. Besides calendars, they also have puzzles, board games, etc. I recommend checking them out. Just a FYI, they do open later than some of the other stores. On Sundays, they opened at noon. Service was good. It’s located close to the kiddie haircut place.”
“Very big clean store, the guy at the door was pleasant, the store looked nice, but I was there for the arcade, there was plenty of booths, and bystanders around, I felt uncomfortable as the arcade area is too bright for me, I almost felt like I was in the spotlight I feel the area should be a little less lit and have more discretion. I may go back and enjoy the booths which I went in the first place and wiped out”
“We have used this Party City for years, but had an especially good experience on Wednesday. I was picking up balloons for my son's birthday and one of the balloons was a little deflated. The 2 gentlemen working noticed the balloon (I had not) and immediately offered to refill it and also gave me a replacement balloon in case the one that I had purchased did not last. They were so kind and worked quickly to resolve a problem I had not noted myself. They were right though because the balloon did not last and the backup was perfect.”
“This woman owned independent bookstore has a great selection of books, fantastic recommendations and is continuously promoting diversity, inclusion and literacy. WHAT MORE COULD WE WANT!”
