It is just a pain to shop there anymore. Just think you are on your feet 8 hours of the day. Have to go grocery shopping to survive the next few days, so all your shopping, CHECK YOURSELF OUT TO BE HELD AT THE DOOR BY A RECEIPT CHECKER!!!! People are exhausted. What is supposed to be a quick trip ends up being waaay more trouble than it's worth. It's ridiculous l. Put your cashiers back to work and get rid of self checkout if theft is a problem. MOST of the customers are NOT thieves and shouldn't be treated as such. I hate shopping at Walmart and will drive 10 miles out of my way to not deal with it.

In one trip on 06/24/2024 we had bought 2 items that were flawed and needed returned.
I had called 4 times no response and it hung up for me after it ringing for a loooong time each time minus one time I hung up.
Both were children's items and therefore unacceptable and couldn't be used.
A developmental toy that had a stain on the nose and a marker through its eyebrow as well as 5 color keys but it said a sixth color that wasn't even on the keys when you pressed green... it would say BLUE aftwr going through its usual rotation of noises for that keys.
The other was a numnoms mystery lipgloss I thought maybe they were selling them again...
It was sold full price FOUR YEARS PAST BEST BY USE.....
You had to open a piece to know that and in order to open packages you have to buy them so I had to buy it to even know.
And developmental baby toys shouldn't be faulty like that....
I would have had to press every single button multiple times to check and no customer should have to...
I usually press and "try me" in the store obviously but didn't know blue was a part of the green keys rotation till I got home and the baby was exploring and then I noticed the black marker wasn't a part of the face cause the other side wasn't the same and there was a stain on the whale toys nose and after Goin through the rotation it said a noise sounding like "blue" I played over and over to make sure.... there's NO BLUE key at all .... it happens when you press green for some reason.
I do t have the most money and didn't live in glencarbon so I called to ask if there's anything that could be done and didn't waste gas and time goin up there since I live in a complicated situation.
I still have the receipt too cause as soon as I noticed I planned to call.
Just wanted to get the baby a nice toy to help with colors and numbers that he liked ;-; and it wasn't as expensive as the DJ table he liked T~T
It's was a musical whale called like the snuggle and discover baby whale by Vtech baby.

Dear walmart,
When I enter your store to shop, I DO NOT need someone trying to sell me windows, or trying to sell me a different power company. To be honest this makes me not want to shop there. The people you have doing this are rude and inconsiderate and have a hard time taking NO for answer. Will probably not be back.
