would not recommend this daycare. The website does not depict how the center is currently, nor the staff. If you look around you will notice a major lack of cleanliness, as well as toys, structure, and supervision. I suggest you look at DCFS Sunshine website on incidents here. Your child will receive no respect, love, or care attending here and come home sick non-stop due to the lack of cleaning. For example, our daughter would come home upset that she was yelled at and in trouble for having an accident when potty-training. I went to the director, board, and Deacon multiple times with no improvements. Our daughter has thrived since leaving here. Please look elsewhere.

Mismanaged from the top down. The place is disgusting, no structure for kids, and the staff are unsupervised and unprofessional to say the least. Please don’t send your kids here. It needs to be shut down.

I was an employee at St. Thomas in 2015, so it goes without saying that it may very well have improved in recent years. However, now as a mother myself, I am downright horrified at the things I saw and experienced in the 5 months I worked there. I would never send my children here, and I strongly encourage other parents to really REALLY vet this place, as well as the staff, before doing so.During my time there, I witnessed staff forcing children down on their cots at nap time. Staff would hold them down on their stomaches by pining their legs down under their legs, and then using their forarms to hold down the children's shoulders. This was almost a daily occurrence.I also witnessed children be belittled and ridiculed in the 2's classroom when they would have potty training accidents or would engage in refusal behaviors when told to use the toilet. AS 2 YEAR OLDS.I can also recount many times that Lead Teachers would leave the classrooms for extended periods of time, leaving TAs alone with the entire class, which is not only unsafe, but also goes drastically against ratios.Overall, as I said at the beginning, it very well may have improved in recent years. But I wish I could go back in time and tell my 19 year old self to stand up for those babies more than I did. Or at the very least, never have worked there to begin with.Please really think about sending your children here.

Emily A was very rude and obnoxious and made our deliveries very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Young disrespectful girl who is not a Christian example for kids.

So disappointed! Called this place on monthly basis from about February-June to keep verifying our spot. We were told we had a fall spot, so we asked when we should come in to fill out paperwork and pay. The employee on the phone said we could come in a couple weeks before our start date to do that. That was about a week ago. Now, they're saying they gave the spot to someone else, because they didn't know we wanted it. Are you serious? So, now we don't have a daycare for our kids to attend. I was telling everyone how excited I was about this daycare; however, I now can't express how upset I am.

St. Thomas is an exceptional place. My daughter started here at age 3 and was only with family before then. From day 1, the teachers at St. Thomas took care of her like their own kid. Every teacher and helper she was with treated her with love and respect. She developed socially and academically during her time at St. Thomas. I highly recommend St. Thomas Childcare and Preschool.

I now have 2 kids at St Thomas and couldn't be happier! They love my kids and treat them well. It's hard to leave your kids with other people all day, but St Thomas keeps you in the loop all day. My daughter can't wait to get there each day. It has been so wonderful to find a daycare that is convenient and is managed well. I highly recommend St Thomas.

The staff is wonderful here! My son loved his time here! I love that they use an app to keep you updated on child, i.e. food, nap, diaper changes. And almost every day they'd send you a picture of my little guy. This place is so perfect! I had a different work schedule every week and with them open 6am-6pm it made it so much easier to drop him off and pick him up.
