The Gathering has great prices and we always find the perfect gift there. The only problem is the service at the front counter. We were in on 6/6/24 before noon and the lady working couldn't be bothered to behalf way pleasant. This has happened before and very disappointing.

Wife saw the sign and wanted to stop she had heard about the place and wanted to check it out . Very nice and very interesting.
The Gathering and Front Porch Cafe is a collection of more than 70 different vendors with everything from handmade jewelry, antiques, refurbished and repurposed items. We also have new boutique items including clothing, handbags and jewelry.
Our cafe serves locally roasted coffee, sandwiches, salads and desserts as well as fudge made daily.
We can’t wait for you to experience The Gathering and The Front Porch Cafe in Gilman, Illinois. We are a short drive South of Kankakee, 45 minutes North of Champaign/Urbana on I-57. Routes 24 and 45 also pass by The Gathering. Just 30 minutes from the Indiana state line and just East of Peoria 1.5 hours.
