“I just left this location with my husband. Upon walking in the manager, John, greeted us right away and asked if he could help us find anything. As soon as I explained the protein supplement I needed, he grabbed it off the shelf for me right away, and didn't try to upsell me which was nice and took the pressure off of shopping around after. My husband made a comment on the price difference between the Total War preworkout on their shelf versus what is sold at a competitor and John provided intelligent feedback on why that might be and went above and beyond to check the product details and what ingredients might be adjusted for them to sell it as a smaller margin. Upon finding out the ingredients were the same, John offered a deal and provided amazing customer service, which is why we will continue to drive the distance from Montgomery to this location for our supplements in the future!! “Joe was absolutely amazing and so knowledgable. I even heard another lady he was helping express the same thing. I went in there looking for some vitamins to help my sciatic nerve pain and troubles falling asleep. He answered every single question I had in depth, giving the what and the why’s of each product. Even the background of the product and how it originated and how it will help me. We shared personal connections with our pain and he recommended me vitamins that would help ease the pain, naturally. He was very empathetic when I threw him all of pain problems and it felt good to have someone that can connect with the consumer. I will only be going to THIS exact location for now on. “4 days past exchange date of unopened product, I was told corporate wont allow past 30 days. Not a refund, an exchange ! I was fully expecting to pay the difference. The staff was pleasant but did enforce the rules she was forced to. I left the product there cuz I wont use it. The Vitamin shop lost a sale today & a customer in the future.-- I was contacted by corporate & they agreed just 4 days past the 30 day return policy was well within the scope of exchanging an unopened product. After receiving 3 phone calls from them, the last being area Mgr, I was able to exchange tge product. Thank you Vitamin Shoppe!”

“Last night I was desperate for CLA after the gym. I had wanted to start it right away. It was 15 mins before closing and Amaal welcomed me in right away. He stopped what he was doing (nightly cleaning) to help me. He was very knowledgeable and didn't mind that I asked a million questions. I also had questions on protein mixes which he suggested what would be ok, good and better. He wasn't pushing a sale but wanted to make sure I was comfortable with what I was looking for. In the morning I called to speak to a manager and Gerardo answered the phone. He again was super friendly and helped me with other questions after I wanted to praise Amaal. I had the gastric surgery twice and need a lot of protein. Both suggested the same thing and said to look into it before purchasing it. I usually go to Vitamin Shoppe but was blown away by the customer service at GNC and will now be a loyal customer. Thank you Amaal and Gerardo for your assistance. It did not go unnoticed.”
