Carolyn is a joy to work with. She helped us update our home so that it's comfortable for us, yet light and fresh for eventual resale. Carolyn listened carefully to all of our ideas and offered many options that we hadn't even considered. Her thoughtful guidance helped us with both major and minor updates to our home. She recommended many sources for materials and for tradesmen that she has vetted for her clients. Carolyn is low key and is a wealth of knowledge and experience. She really takes each of her client's needs and interests to heart. Her fees are quite reasonable and she saved us money in many areas with her expert advice. If you're looking for a first-rate experience, Carolyn is the one!

Our house in Saint Charles was built in 2003 so we felt we were long overdue for some updates. We were looking to go from cherry-stained oak floors and cabinets throughout the house, but were very nervous to pick the wrong colors and really didn't know what other improvements would be the best way to go within our budget. That's when we called Carolyn. First, we loved how she responded so quickly and then came by with large samples of paint, floor stains, back splash tiles and counter top samples. To have the professional samples in our space made things so much easier, along with her guidance, not to mention her patience! While we were working together, she asked to see pictures of what we liked and then tried to recreate the essence of the pictures while still working with our furniture, paint colors on the walls and trim colors - since they weren't going to be changing. This was no easy task! She is a true color specialist... knowing how all of the undertones work and how different light bulbs affect the appearance of paint as well as how natural light affects it - not to mention all of the different sheen options and what to use where. Carolyn had answers for everything! She was so kind with her mannerisms, so detail oriented and very concise with her instructions. Carolyn also had great referrals as far as different tradesmen and always responded to my texts and calls right away. Not only did she advise us on the things we were unsure about, but she also gave great additional (random but helpful) recommendations along the way - ie - kitchen hardware, tile specifications, light bulb and light fixture recommendations, and the list goes on. All of these extra tips were completely unexpected but so appreciated! As we were working together, I started following her on Instagram and what an informative and lovely profile she has! I could go on and on about great things to say about Carolyn but the bottom line is that I can't imagine having done this project without her. Thank you Carolyn!!!

Our house had been sitting on the market for almost 2 years when I turned to Style It Home. Carolyn worked with me and my limited budget to help transform our home. She chose paint colors that lightened our space and accentuated the features of our cabinetry and trim work. Her staging expertise boosted our online presence resulting in more showings and finally the sale of our house!

Been with 25N for the past year and could not be happier. I am way more productive than when I home office! People are very cool and atmosphere has tons of great areas to work from. Great spot in Geneva near the river which is a bonus
