I had a haircut with Andie couple weeks ago and I’m in love with the results. I had her do a long layer cut as I was losing body in my hair and with age I notice my hair was starting to thin. Andie listened to my concerns and agreed layered cut would give more body and life back to my hair. She not only listens but she educates and cares about the integrity of my hair!! I trust my hair in her hands and I feel much better about my hair!! Thanks for always fitting me in and helping this girl feel better about her hair. Briana gave an amazing haircut and I would recommend this salon to everyone because her styling technique is very unique and she’s very good. She is one of the best hair stylist I know who did my hair the way I like it and she uses the best hair products. I’m so sorry that it has taken me so long to write this review, especially since Andie and her team at Salon on State did such a fantastic job! I got married in Geneva and my venue was right next door to the salon. Andie and her team did hair and makeup for almost everyone in my bridal party. Andie listened and was very patient with me during my hair trial. She worked hard to get my stick straight difficult-to-curl hair exactly right, and my hair turned out beautif

Mia is AMAZING! The first time I went and saw her I had explained that for the past few times that I had tried getting my hair done at the same salon that I’ve been going to forever same with my family, that my goal was to keep my dark brown hair but have light or medium blonde ends like definitely a balayage. And my old salon continued to keep trying to do it and it would never turn out how I wanted it and that’s because I think they were just trying to give me what I wanted but that was not the case and it was expensive. But when I went to Mia she explained to me that it would be almost impossible to get those results especially in one appointment and that at some point I would definitely have to deal with the dreaded orange stage so I could either start lightening the hair but it would probably be about a year long process and a lot of money, or we could always go with the fusion extensions which again is still a little pricey but then you’re able to get the look you want almost immediately and it lasts for quite a while. So I was very happy that she explained everything to me and said of just trying to give me what I asked for knowing that it was pretty much impossible and that she laid everything out on the table for me as far as why the hair will not turn the color I want it to and why it will take as long as it will and I totally understood, she explained it to me in a way that was easy to understand and she also gave me options as to how I wanted to proceed. So the first time I saw her I just ended up getting my color re-done and then the second time I went with the Tony Odisho Keratin Fusion Extensions which were my hair color at the top and then a caramel at the bottom and they were so amazing I was literally so happy when I got out of that chair, and not to mention the first time I went and saw her the top of my hair was lighter brown and the ends were almost black so she fixed that for me and made my hair all one color again but I’m going back to see her soon and I can’t wait for my second round of extensions and she really just is amazing by actually taking the time to explain things to you and not just take your money and try and do what you want knowing that it’s not possible with in the timeframe that you have. So I would definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone. Although it is a little more on the expensive side if you want good quality hair or color then you definitely want to make sure that you are putting the money into it that way you get what you’re looking for and not something completely different. So if I could give her 10 stars I would but since I can only give her five I will give her five but I just want everyone to know how great she is.

I have lupus and it’s SO HARD to find a stylist who will work with you with compassion, passion, and skill. This place went ABOVE and beyond. Mia is a saint and if I could give 1000x stars I would. Best of the best!
