My husband and I hosted our wedding at Riverside Receptions earlier this month, and we were beyond happy with how the day turned out. I spent the entire day at the venue - my bridesmaids and I got hair and makeup done there, we did first look and bridal party photos around the venue and in the cute courtyard area, our ceremony and cocktail hour was hosted on the first floor, and our reception was hosted on the second floor. All throughout the day, the Riverside staff was helpful, on schedule, flexible, and fun to work with. Our guests raved about the food and service, and the venue was the perfect size for 160 guests. Feeling nothing but grateful and lucky to have found this beautiful spot. Thank you Tina, Renee, and all other Riverside Receptions staff members that made our day feel effortless and special.

Undoubtedly one of the best wedding venues along the Fox River. The getting ready suite is ample size with tall ceilings and exposed brick, both the ceremony and receptions rooms have epic floor to ceiling windows giving uninterrupted views of the water and there are plentiful locations in the historical courtyard and riverfront walk for all your wedding photo and video needs. Visit this place and you won't be disappointed.

We hosted our wedding reception at Riverside and were very happy with the process from start to finish. We booked the upper level only for our event, and it was perfect for our wedding of ~160 guests (not feeling empty, but with space to fit more tables if needed). The view of the river was gorgeous, and we shot wedding photos along the river just north of the venue after our ceremony. Renee was very easy to work with and helped to accommodate our many dietary restrictions and special requests for the event. Apart from the delicious food and friendly staff, the biggest value that Riverside brought to us was their ability to coordinate food, cake, and decorations all in-house. After dropping off a few boxes of our own decorations the week of our wedding, we were able to show-up to our cocktail hour to a reception space that was beautifully decorated by the Riverside staff. Riverside's work behind the scenes made it possible for us to enjoy our reception and spend time with our guests without worrying about logistics. We are so glad that we found Riverside to host our reception, and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a cost-competitive, all-in-one venue in the area.

We held my daughters wedding two days ago at Riverside. Everything was awesome, they did such a good job we couldn’t have been more pleased. The food was fantastic, the filets were fabulous. Several guests commented best filet they ever had which is impressive for a large event venue. Service was equally impressive. Great job, thanks again Riverside team.

The venue itself is gorgeous but the staff needs to go. I had my wedding here on 8/12/23 and they made it the most stressful day. To start, during the planning process we were originally working with Renee but got transferred to Tina as Renee was out of office. Tina was rude, argumentative and very unprofessional. We answered ALL her questions including what we wanted to cocktail hour, late night snacks, a champagne table etc. NONE of our information was passed back to Renee so we had to keep repeating ourselves and it got very confusing. I would then send Renee information and she would contact my mom telling her something different. For 2 weeks before my wedding it was nothing but confusion and different emails/calls to me and my mom. A very big note I made with Tina was that the venue needed to be very cool upon my arrival (I have a chronic illness and heat makes me very sick) - this was not done and it was extremely warm in the venue (even my bridal party was sweating and uncomfortable). For when guests arrived they completely forgot to put out our champagne table (which was very expensive by the way), they didn’t provide our guests Guinness beer which we called and requested and confirmed several times before the wedding, they served the late night food ice cold with no lids on. The manager who took over for Renee constantly argued with my bridal party about everything. This staff is just so rude and half the things we asked for on our day were not provided. The venue is absolutely stunning but the staff made our day so stressful.

Wedding and reception went perfectly. Atmosphere was lovely, staff was top notch, and dinner was delicious, efficiently served by great servers. Can highly recommend.

This place was gorgeous and the food was delicious. My tastebuds cannot stop thinking about the dressing they used for the cranberry/clementine/walnut salad -- I'd waterboard someone to get that recipe!

We couldn’t be happier with everything! Renee was awesome and the staff was outstanding! I would totally recommend this venue. Went beyond our expectations and all our guests were so impressed with the facilities, the food, wait staff, etc….too much to list! Thank you Riverside Reservations!!

Choosing Riverside Reception was the best decision we made for our wedding. The moment we got there we knew it was the perfect venue for us. We were greeted by Tina who not only gave an amazing tour but went above and beyond to help us picture our special day there. They offered amazing packages, including the winter package, that made our dream wedding affordable. Throughout the whole planning process Tina and Renee were always available for questions and extremely flexible with our requests. Specifically, we wanted to have craft beer the day of the wedding that we would bring in and serve as a special menu, and without hesitation they were onboard. We also wanted to bring in a donut wall, which for a small fee, they set up and had refilled all night. Leading up to the wedding I had little to no nerves because of how well they communicated with us. Beside communication, their staff is incredible. They set up the whole venue just like I imagined, and it looked like a dream. Guests raved about the food, we served chicken and steak, and people could not get over how good the steak was. I could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

Went to my wife's friends wedding here. It's a nice place. Food is good, service is good, and place is beautiful. Actually have been here for a few weddings. Only gripe is the parking. On a Friday night we had to walk quite a long ways in the snow all dressed up cause there was no parking. Oh well very minor and obviously nothing they can do about it.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had our wedding at riverside over the weekend with 120 guests and I have ZERO complaints. Not one. The venue speaks for itself. The staff is PHENOMENAL. They were always available and always lent a helping hand when they could. The food is top notch, the filet melts in your mouth. Best food we have had at any wedding we've ever attended. I can't praise them enough. If you are considering having your special day here, you would be doing yourself a disservice not to. Thank you!

Been here multiple times for corporate events (and a couple weddings). First class service. Great food. Great view of the Fox River. *Glad you were able to weather the pandemic!
