I used to work here and couldn’t stand about the review about the parking lot.3 stores were paying for the parking lot behind the building, workers were not parking there to let our customers to park.I did snow removal when it was not done by the store opening, I bet someone is still doing it.Customers bring artworks for framing and there are elder customers who want to park as near as they can, but there are only 2-3 spaces for each store.There is the sign on the building which might be hard to catch, but giving low stars for the ignorance is not fair for Proud Fox Gallery.People who I worked with were experienced, had great knowledge and cared about framing with pride.I was proud to work with them!

I have been taking my art work there for so very many years. They are accomplished framers who have an artistic eye for framing and are very particular about getting the exact right mat and frame colors to complement the paintings or pictures. I have also acquired paintings from their lovely gallery over the years. It hard to find a comparable place in the Fox Valley.

I had a picture framed there a few years ago and they did a lovely job so I went back to have 6 pieces framed and the experience was not the same. They changed the frame I chose (from black matt to silver) on three of the pictures without calling or saying anything, so I had no idea until I came to pick them up. The silver did NOT work, so the pictures had to be done again. They left a clump of blue tape in place where it could be seen on another. The size of the frame on yet another was way too small so now the drawing looks crammed in there. I like to support local businesses. I went there, even though it is very expensive, because they did such a great job many years ago and I was willing to pay for their expertise and quality. The framing is high quality but this time, the expertise and service was not.

I've brought in 14 pieces to be framed. Each piece was done with exceptional care and accuracy. Each time, I'm asked "Who framed this"? PFG are truly creative and craftsmen. I will not let anyone else touch my work....period.

David has certainly mastered his craft. In theory you get what you pay for, and with proud fox, they certainly deliver a high quality product whilst maintaining a strong customer-centric experience. We will continue to have our prized pieces only built by David, Thx..!

Want to like this place and support local business. Owners very cold to new businesses whilst calling the cops to write tickets on employees for parking in “his marked†parking lot. Stating- “I watch these girls get into their cars at night†not something you want to be heard saying out loud this day in age. I hope new patrons to this area don't get harassed by them as well, as the parking spots are far from properly marked.

The Proud Fox has helped me for years--with my company decorating needs and of course, because of their exceptional work, with my personal works of art. I inherited a lovely oil landscape painted by a distant relative. It needed a little cleaning up and the supporting wood had some insect damage (eeuuu) which I had not realized. The Proud Fox cleaned up the lovely oil and repaired the wood. It has been a part of my family for over 100 years and now, with their help, I will be able to pass it on in good shape for my family to enjoy. Thank you Proud Fox.

I didn't love the photograph my husband bought. He called it a "gateway to the galaxy." But when we came to pick it after framing at Proud Fox Gallery, I truly loved what it had become. The blue frame that Richard recommended, combined with the crisp white matting and black trim gave it an uncanny elegance. Every time I walk past it (now on our hallway wall), I think of the minor miracle performed by Proud Fox Gallery. Most of all, I love the artwork. I will be back.

This place is crazy expensive for getting things framed. When talking to the employee, I feel like he didn't really listen to what I was envisioning. I did not end up buying a frame here due to the prices.

What a great place. Apples to apples prices are comparable to Michaels framing "deals". Frames themselves are much higher quality and so is the service and expertise.
