810 E State St, GenevaValley Animal Hospital is such a great place. I moved to this area 3 years ago and was recommended Valley by some friends who also took their animals there. The folks at Valley have taken such good care of my dog!
They have a huge, knowledgeable team of both vets and technicians. Depending on what kind of appointment you're having, they'll let you know you can just see a tech for it, so it can be both easier to get in and cheaper. Turnaround times on appointments are pretty quick, and the couple of times I've needed it, they've been able to squeeze me in for a same-day emergency appointment.
I truly believe the staff cares about me and my dog, and they always take wonderful care of her. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

We say "Dogtopia" at home and he starts listening very intently and gets excited to go for a ride to spend the day with doggie friends and Dogtopia staff!

477 S 3rd St Ste 184, GenevaI'm a regular at Barrel and Rye in Geneva because of its selection of unique entree ingredients. I brought guests today for lunch, and they also loved it. My one guest said the Jimbalaya was the best he has ever had! I enjoy the pistachio + beet salad, and usually have it with salmon, which is cooked perfectly. I've also had the poke bowl-the tuna is excellent paired with the ginger glaze + charred pineapple. The brie burger is also good-the slightly acidic brie balances out the pear-bourbon jam. Speaking of bourbon-this is their nameclature. Many, many selections, but I usually order wine and like the two pinot noir offerings. The service is always great. We stayed today well beyond the busy lunch period, but the place is often hopping after 5. I hope you experience the care put into Barrel + Rye, and I recommend it.

Very friendly, very attentive to making sure our food was good and we had all we needed, great sense of humor and even made my daughter smile at his jokes. The other staff seating us and bringing food or drinks to our table were very attentive and friendly as well. The coffee and food was fantastic. Dylan deserves a recognition for going above and beyond with customer service! The service, food and atmosphere is why we keep coming back.

The host was very attentive and our waitress was more than helpful and very quick. \n\nThe food was outstanding; both unique and delicious. \n\nTry the roasted asparagus not like any you’ve had. Served with crispy artichoke hearts and a little garlic aioli. We also ordered two salads. Butter Lettuce with citrus was a wonderful surprise. Simple, elegant, and delicious. The second salad was crispy duck. Who knows where THAT idea came from. It was absolutely scrumptious and was served with a large portion of a rice/wild rice dish; very satisfying. \n\nWe didn’t have room for more and were SO happy we chose Preservation.

511 S 3rd St, GenevaWe are long time Geneva residents and have grabbed lunch from the Shack 4 or 5 times. Sandwiches are ALWAYS on point and we have been loving the truly unique flavors of all the different chicken bowls they offer. Everything else is pretty basic and obviously fried so it can get a little heavy but combined with the wide variety of dipping sauces its hard not to keep eating. As far as the service goes it is what it is, you are ordering at a window and there is no white table cloths SO if thats your thing pick one of the other 20+ options within walking distance. The Atmosphere is totally unique for Geneva and oozes of the old school food shacks, huts and stands that use to be the goodie go-to in the fox river valley before all the chains moved in.
We suggest try it on a week day : )

524 W State St, GenevaThey make an awesome Anchovy, Mushrooms, and Garlic pizza. Staff is great. Several years ago they put artichokes on my pizza instead of Anchovies. Called it in and the manager drove over with a proper pizza. Ordered a dozen pizzas for the service techs at McGrath Honda. I was very pleased with the service and delivery.
