Came here with my dad to get a necklace for my mom for Christmas. Let me tell you. BEAR THE POMERANIAN IS AWESOME. It’s like being greeted by a small lion. He is well behaved and a good fluffy boi. The jeweler was also extremely kind and knowledgeable. It’s quality stuff. 10/10 recommend.

I inherited my late grandma’s wedding ring from my mom that was purchased by my grandfather from the original location of the same jeweler many years ago. I took the diamond into Margaret Matson Jewelers with my mom and the experience picking out a new setting and talking with the staff were moments both of us will never forget. Everything went so smooth, and the location allowed my mom and I to spend time together in downtown Geneva for multiple weekends. My fiancé loves the setting and was able to meet the staff due to the ring needing to be resized (my fault). That process as well was a smooth and positive experience. A no stress engagement largely due to Margaret Matson Jewelers, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Walked in and out with a perfect purchase in under 30 minutes! I knew I wanted to shop locally for my anniversary band, and Margaret helped me find a perfect match. The band was resized within a week. Excellent service, selections, and pricing. Also, meeting Bear was a bonus!

Margaret is supper informative, honest and upfront. Turnover time is awesome. All of her collections are beautiful and wide range in selection. Would highly recommend going back for future jewelry. My fiancé purchased the engagement ring from here.

Margaret the shop owner is such a kind lady and is so helpful every time I have gone into her shop. I love the variety of Chan Luu jewelry that she carries. I needed my engagement ring resized and it was done in a timely fashion and they called me as soon as it came in. They gave me an estimated time frame and sure enough it was completed the day they told me. The rest of the staff that work here are always friendly. I would definitely recommend this shop to friends and family.

I chose to take my moms estate jewelry to Margaret Matson for an appraisal because they are not a chain store and have been a very reputable jeweler in Geneva for a long time. Margaret did a very accurate appraisal since another high-end jewelry buyer/company in Chicago offered prices very close to Margarets appraisals for my moms 3 elegant diamond rings. Margaret is a great lady, sincere, professional & trustworthy!! I highly recommend her store for beautiful jewelry and vintage estate pieces!

I have had multiple shopping experiences in this store and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff and Margaret. I love the watches I have bought from there and anytime I had a question or issue I got the best help. I will shop here in the future and make my boyfriend purchase an engagement ring here as well :)

First experience here: I was looking for a place to replace a cheap digital watch battery because I don't have a small enough screwdriver and thought it should be easy. Margaret Matson claims to do watch repair, but they just told me they could not replace a battery on a digital watch without mailing it to the watch maker. For a place that claims to do watch repair, I would have expected that they could take out 4 screws and replace a battery in house. Given their unhelpfulness here, I don't see why I'd risk a larger purchase from them.
