Thanks for a great experience with our recent auto loan -- super fast and easy application process, thanks to Trevor and the Geneva staff. The KCT Online dashboard consolidates all our accounts (checking, savings, credit cards, loans, etc) in one place, making for very efficient "one-click banking"!

This is the spot. I went to multiple credit unions and banks recently to see who had the best options for personal loans and credit cards. KCT credit union won by a landslide. Nothing even close. Now for this location specifically, I had one of the most pleasurable experiences I have ever had at a bank. I was greeted with a smile by everyone when I walked in. I have had the pleasure of working with Rick for the last week now and I can honestly say that he has gone above and beyond for me. Emilie, who is the GM I believe, is so nice and has so much experience that when talking with her I can't but feel a sense of relief and ease. Virginia is great too:) I haven't met everyone yet, but I very much look forward to doing so. If you don't believe me, then go in and experience it for yourself!

Emilie Adams is AMAZING!!!! Never have I had a person go into as much detail with regards to my loan options as she did! She went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I understood ALL of our options and the pros and cons to each. I highly suggest sitting down with her if you have any loan needs - you will not regret it!

Credit unions create cooperative service agreements to spread their service to a larger area. This to make their credit union more appealing to potential users. The KCT Geneva location is the exception to this rule. KCT Geneva actively dissuades affiliate credit union members from using the location by being rude and demanding extraordinary procedures from any credit union user outside of the KCT system. Depositing money, yes depositing money is treated as a potential fraud event. Yes, you heard that right. These Kane County Teacher people would not accept my drivers license, or a check made out to me, to be deposited in MY account without me having to park the car and physically enter the office just so I could hand them the same driver's license and signed deposit slip they returned to me via the drive through window. When I asked why I had to come in and do exactly what I had just done through the window, I was told "It's company policy". Really? It's basically company policy to discriminate? And that was their explanation. If you are not a KCT member, you're treated differently. The entire crew seems to be composed of lonely, angry employees.

Great experience. Rates are very good and online banking is excellent. Some of the negative reviews are probably fake. I avoid the big banks as much as possible bc of their corruption.

Meh. That sums up the personalities of the personnel there. They do their job, but friendly is not a word I would use to describe anyone here. I go in there because my credit union has a reciprocity agreement and I can make deposits at other credit unions this being the most convenient. The last two times I was there, I left feeling annoyed and shaking my head. The first teller never said hello, never smiled, and was just blah. I believe she felt she was doing me a favor by doing her job. In order to make a deposit from another credit union, you have to fill out a slip. On this slip you need to write: the date, your name, your credit union name, your account number, the last 4 digits of your social security number, your address, your DL #, and then, just to deposit a check, you need to write the amount in 2 to 3 different places. It is time consuming to say the least. I asked if I could get a couple of slips so I could fill them out before walking in. She said, "No, you have to complete these at the desk." How about this reply, "I'm sorry. We aren't allowed to give out these slips. Per our policy, we need to witness the account holder completing the form." ...or whatever the reason is. I have no idea because the response I got was no and received no explanation. Instead, my reply was ohhh-kay and I may or may not have rolled my eyes. I may have just rolled them inside my mind because I am a little more courteous than that. Oh, and you might think that they were overwhelmed and busy. I was the only person in the place. The next time I went in, she was equally as pleasant and polite to another customer. I got the other teller who had no personality either. She was polite at least, but never smiled and was also blah. In total, I have been there 3 or 4 times in the last month. Nothing has changed, so I can't say they were just having a bad day. Not sure what type of management you have at this credit union, but you have some very unhappy employees. I need to open a new account for my business and was checking out the place before opening an account. I love credit unions. Needless to say, I won't be opening an account here.

Horrible first experience with Customer Service at the window. I just moved to the area. I had $3000 cash to deposit and wanted to discuss opening accounts for my children. Representative was so abrasive I left the parkong lot and will never return.

I've always gone to this bank. It's my bank of choice.
