I had the absolute worst experience at whatever you want to call this store… Lol. The manager was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They made me feel unwelcome and treated me with complete disrespect as I was just trying to buy a gift for my mother. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere else where you'll be treated kindly. As for the business itself I’d recommend converting your store into a Jersey Mikes or Popeyes, this would give you guys more customers. Maybe get some different staff too… please do.

Very mean and poor management. I’ve bought a few things from this boutique, but wasn’t extremely impressed with the services. I’ve had a few bad encounters with the owner and have known several individuals who have been ghosted/not been paid on the job. Do better !

Rubbish attitude over the phone when I was inquiring about consigning a few sterling/marcasite pieces and a Movado watch. I'm from an extended family of highly successful small business owners. Never would I do business with this woman. Conversely, Anew and Always in Style in Geneva I would highly recommend. Very professional and welcoming.

I have been going to Jane Pabon boutique for over six years, it is an amazing consignment store that has become one of my main shopping destinations. The staff is very professional and friendly, and they know quite a lot about good fashion. The clothing and accessories selection in the store is outstanding. Definitely one of the best consignment stores I have ever been to and I highly recommend it!

I am a client and a consigner at the Jane Pabon Boutique. I first came across this business on Instagram and soon ventured out to the suburbs of Chicago to make my first visit. I was blown away by the beautiful assortment and as my luck had it the owner, Jane, was working on the sales floor. She has outstanding presence and style, I was so thrilled to work with her. I did not leave empty handed and have since become a consigner with her business. I have always had an exceptional experience at JPB. The team is extremely helpful and makes suggestions based on what you are shopping for. I highly suggest JPB for anyone looking to elevate their wardrobe with one of a kind pieces as well as consigning items you’re ready to part with. As someone who loves finding special boutiques across the globe, JPB has easily become my top destination for all my style needs!

I have been a recent shopper at Jane Pabon after my parents introduced me to this boutique. They do not only have a large selection of various clothes and accessories, but they also help you style and put clothes together. I believe I always find the best clothes here that can make me feel and look beautiful. I will continue shopping here because they always have something new and interesting every week. Every time I wear clothes from Jane Pabon, I am the best dressed in the room. Jane is one of the most genuine and caring people I’ve met and I always feel comfortable asking her for advice because I know she will be truthful. You are missing out if you have never been to this boutique!

They truly love what they are selling and they want you to have the best experience!My first stop anytime I am in Chicago. nice people, but they documented I sold my mink, when it was a leather long coat with silver fox collar that had sold. they should know the difference! then could not find the mink when I went to pick up. I had to make a second trip and they had stuffed my mink in the basement and I had to wait for them to search for it. I had told them what time I'd be there and they weren't ready. not returning to consign

I have both worked for JPB and shopped with the boutique, and I highly recommend you do NOT do either.As an employee - I worked for the shop for about 2 months until JPB started to voice concerns that I was not making enough money for the business/she could not afford me. We agreed that we’d try to make things work & revisit in a few weeks. Well, a weekend passed, and then she decided I just wasn’t a good fit. She called me up, and let me go. She then oddly asked me how much longer I’d like to work for - to which I proceeded to say I’d like to work until I found another job or get unemployment (She then lied and told me I would not qualify for unemployment because I didn’t work there 90 days - which at the time, I thought was true). I was originally going to work 2 more weeks to save any money I could (knowing I could not get unemployment), but later changed my mind and decided my time would better be spent looking for a new job, as I realized the environment would be somewhat odd as I was just let go.The worst part? When I later realized Jane lied about the 90 days and I applied for unemployment, Jane then lied again to the unemployment office, and said I voluntarily left. Which was only partially true - because I was given an end date to my employment, regardless. I’m addition, any communication with JPB was pointless once I found out, because by this point, she blocked me on social media and would not respond to any of my communications as well.I am not one to leave reviews, and typically would never leave one with this level of detail, but the feeling of being unemployed before the holidays with no money incoming is terrifying - and I would never want that to happen to someone else. I understand businesses have to do what makes sense to them financially, but more communication and warnings beforehand would have been appreciated so I could have started looking for new jobs proactively if the owner possibly had concerns about my employment.The store is beautiful, but I would highly recommend to take your business to another consignment shop with better values. Leaving this review so that anyone considering working with this shop might have a warning beforehand.

Not only is Jane an ANGEL to work with she is an extremely talented stylist! Her boutique has incredible designer pieces and when she is booked for a styling session she truly gets to know her client's needs and vision and then delivers an incredible look. All I can say is scam scam scam. Do not consign here if you don't want to be stolen from and lied to. I brought multiple clothes here over time and was told it was donated this past time with no call and a contract stating I in fact did not want them to donate it. The last couple times ( and this is my fault but I trusted them ) they were still selling clothes on the floor when she said they had been donated. I honestly didn't even remember what I had brought there until this last time EVERYTHING went missing, oh I mean "donated" / stolen. She claims we should be women supporting women but I don't appreciate a woman stealing from another woman. My sister in law sold brand new Christian louboutin ( never worn ) and they gave her $179 and donated 7 other items with out consent and she did not have any date on her contract. they tried to buy her off bc they got caught and fed some bullshit about how in 15 years this is the first time this has ever happened. Honey, read your reviews bc you're lying again. Other people have said the same thing so must have been the first time like 50 times? It's really hurtful, frustrating and violating and I recommend staying away.
