Have a great massage experience here. It dies matter which therapist you have. Becky, Edwardo, Mason, all great. Did have a rough experience with one therapist that us no longer there, but I did not bring my concerns to them. Easy to schedule with. Easy to reschedule. Great staff. Would recommend.

Was in for a massage today. They were doing construction in the office. Why would you do this when people are trying to relax!!!! Ruined my massage, all I heard was banging and vacuuming. HorribleFor them not to think of their customers who are paying for a stress relief service!!!!! Bad move on their part

I have been a member here for about a year now and have tried a handful of different massage therapists. Without fail, Holly continues to impress me and relieve pain each time I come. She might be small, but she is mighty! Each time she welcomes me with a smiling face and makes sure we are working on my main focuses for that session. I never hesitate asking her to adjust pressure, the heat level on the bed or anything else. She also is very good about checking in about pressure without ruining the experience/relaxation. Very grateful for her services and I look forward to her sessions each time. For reference, I am 5'9 and request medium to deep pressure and she does exactly what is asked for.I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to freeze your membership if needed. There are times where I don't go month-to-month and my passes build up. I am able to put a freeze on my account for 3 months until I can catch up on my passes.

I had an amazing experience at Hand and Stone. I was able to book an appointment for myself and my bff! I had Tara and she was so sweet, and knowledgeable about skin care. I felt like I was glowing after my service and can't wait to go back. My friend had a massage with Becky and loved her experience as well. The front desk staff was very kind and made us feel at home... can't wait for my next visit!

I have been seeing Elle for several years now and she always does an amazing job. I have an autoimmune disease that gives me symptoms similar to arthritis, and I am often in pain. Elle is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to working with different health issues and I always leave feeling great. Every time I see her she always asks how I am feeling, what I’ve been up to, etc., and she treats me as if I am family. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Elle for all the hard work you do and for taking such great care of me!

Tried to book a couples massage for my new husband and I. Noticed online they had an introductory offer of $79 for a new customer one hour massage but then was told it would be $139 per person for a couples massage and they would not honor the introductory offer. I think it’s ridiculous to have to pay an extra $50 per person just to have a couples massage. Disappointed in the customer service and did not end up booking a massage.

I did not have a great experience from the very beginning to the very end of my entire process. I received a gift card for a massage and facial which HAD to be booked together, they said there was no way around that. I made an appointment a week or two in advance and even found a babysitter for that day to sit with the kids- and within 24 hours of that appointment- they call me to cancel and say that they can no longer do my appointment. She said as a courtesy to me- she is willing to split up the appointment. I told them that isn't fair that they can cancel on me, but if I cancelled within 24 hours- I would get charged a cancellation fee within the same time period that they are doing to me. It's all over their emails and confirmations that a cancellation fee would apply. Anyway, I had to book something several days later because nothing was available together so last minute... I come to my appointment 10 minutes early and get checked in. I go to use the restroom and come out and am just sitting in the lobby in clear view of the front desk girls. At 6:10 they look at me and say- are you checked in? I'm like yes, I checked in around 5:50 and have just been sitting here. And they're like oh let us go get her. I ask the fact that I am being taken back so late, will it interfere with my appointment time and they assured me that it would not. As I figured, it did interfere with my appointment time I didn't get the full time that I should have because right after that- I had to get my facial. The massage was bland and she was mostly just going in light circles with warm rocks, did not feel worth the price of a hot stone massage at all. The facial was great. But Checkout was a nightmare.... They tried to charge me for something that I did not approve or request without telling me about... I clearly told them how much I wanted my tip to be. When I asked about the amount- she quoted me more than what I said. I asked her why she is charging me more and she said let me see, so for 5 minutes she was just clicking away and than said for an upgrade. I'm like what upgrade. She said the upgrade you selected. i'm like what upgrade did I select... I literally called to book the himalayan salt massage and facial- there was no upgrade. Everything that was included, was paid for in the package. checkout alone took about 20 minutes because she didn't want to remove an upgrade that I NEVER agreed to or even knew about- I just so happened to over hear them say something which prompted me to ask about the amount before inserting my card. For the amount that was paid for in this package as a mothers day gift to me, I am very disappointed with the entire experience from start to finish.

I had a massage my neighbor had given me as a gift at the Geneva location. My intention as not to sign up for a membership but, in all honesty, after I had my massage, the therapist that performed my massage was so great, I wanted to come back! What better way than at a reduced price too?! I can’t say enough how great I felt after my massage because you all will think I’m lying but I DID feel great! Can’t wait to go back.

Hand and Stone Geneva is absolutely wonderful! After several wonderful massages in a row, I now won’t go anywhere else. The staff is so sweet and helpful. This is the first time in a long time I’ve found a massage therapist who really can find the root of the issue and provide real relief. I always walk out feeling rejuvenated. 15/10 recommend!

Hand and Stone is a rip off. I paid $69 for a 50 minute message. I only received a 45 minute message and when I checked out I had to pay an additional $20 because it was deep tissue. Never mentioned to me when I made the appointment.

Buyer beware!!!I booked massages for my husband and I. We originally booked with the 75th Street Naperville location. The morning of the appointment we were called and told that a therapist was out sick and they needed to reschedule our appointments. Seeing that my husband and I both already took off from work I asked if they could reschedule us with another location the same day. We were able to book appointments for the same day at the Geneva location.The appointment started a bit late and it also seemed to end a bit early. I’m use to a 40-50 min session when booking a 60min massage, but this seemed closer to a 30min session.My husband mentioned his feet as an area of focus, and they weren’t even touched. (And he has great feet for a man.)Due to us having to drive and reschedule with a differ location, I was told we both would receive a free enhancement.Upon checking out our bill was approximately $200 more than what is should have been. I mentioned this to the front desk clerk and she quickly asked for assistance. Apparently they charge more for couple massages because we’re in the same room. This was never disclosed. They then gave us a bill which was more than what it should have been.A male emerged from the back and took off an amount, presenting us with a number which seemed closer to what we should have been charged originally.Once home I looked at the receipt and noticed they still overcharged us by $20 or so, which isn’t a big deal, but remember we were originally inconvenienced in having to drive to another city for a service which should have only taken us 10mins to get to. So, I called and asked for this to be corrected. I waited on hold for more than 20mins, only to speak with a very defensive and rude person. Once she told me she couldn’t make the corrected I told her that it was fine and we disconnected. She then called me back after 5mins and said she was able to issue the refund.$20 really isn’t much, but it’s the fact of being inconvenienced, s lack or transparency when it comes to pricing, and also disrespect by poor customer service.
