I have shopped in this boutique many times, It has absolutely beautiful merchandise. I was in the other day and the owner was busy unpacking stuff and never once said hello to me while I shopped around ...after shopping a bit I went to the counter to purchase a candle and she basically ignored me for a few minutes before coming up to ring me ..she did not ask my name for the computer and rang my candle without much conversation and I left the store feeling like I aggravated her.

After many trips to Geneva over the years, we have always enjoyed each little shop & restaurant. Until today. We walked into Artemisia and saw some lovely clothing and decor. Two ladies behind the register saw us and did not welcome us at all. I found a very comfortable chair to try while my friend looked around. In walks this woman who I smiled at and got zero response. She went in the back room, came out and proceeded to walk right in front of my friend cutting her off without a word. We left and the next 4 stores we went to we were greeted by the friendliest and helpful staff! This was such a contrast from your store. Yes, we came back to see who was so rude to us…turns out it was the store owner because we spoke with you and asked for your business card and all of a sudden you were nice!! Maybe you could take a minute and look in one of your mirrors and see you are no better than anyone else. Your attitude needs adjusting!

The clothing and merchandise are great. The customer service is not so great unless you are not a POC or at least look like you have money to spend. I did get a call from the owner who insisted they are not racist or elitist the words say one thing and the actions speak louder.

The customer service is hit or miss. My last visit was a miss. Unfriendly, not welcoming. The employee acted annoyed by my presence, even though I was chill and didn't need assistance. Her attitude was off-putting. I'm not the only one who noticed, aparent by other comments here.

This store is one of the more expensive stores in downtown Geneva. Clothes and shoes are $200+. They have a nice collection of items but just not affordable. There are also home goods. Beautiful store but out of the price range I'm looking for. Most likely won't be back given this.

Love this store! At first you might think it’s just filled with artful housewares but it’s their clothing, shoes, handbags and jewelry that really makes this my go-to local store. They curate clothes that are high quality with unique cuts. Truly appreciate shop for all the unique finds!

I live in California and always visit this amazing place when I'm in town. If you're looking to add some stylish décor to your home that will start conversations with your guests, this is your store. Very charming store with the most unique and trending finds. The employees and owners are very nice and go out of their way to answer any questions.

I've shopped here many times. The owner is a nice person. Today, the sales people were just sullen. I had every intention to buy a few items today, but instead, I walked out.

Great store with great people! Many sustainable options & the shop is woman owned! The art gallery is such a cool edition.

Was driving by and saw a sweater in the window that I liked. Pulled into a spot and walked in to look for it. Weekday morning, no customers in the store. Came in by myself. Sales woman was stocking a display in the middle of the store. She totally ignored me. No eye contact, no greeting, nothing. I looked through the racks and couldn't find the sweater. Walked across the store to another rack, still waiting for her to acknowledge or greet me. It was at the point of getting awkward! It was like she was making a point of ignoring me. So I left. I was disappointed to say the least. I don't need someone to smother me with attention while shopping but at least say hello. I would have asked if the sweater was still available-in the back room, can I buy it from the window, etc. but I was so uncomfortable and felt very unwelcome. Will never go there again.

I have never been in a store as wonderfully curated as Artemisia. It is evident from the moment you walk in that every piece of furniture, work of art, item of clothing, and decor element was painstakingly selected for its uniqueness and craftsmanship. The store pays tribute to American artisans by displaying some of the finest pieces I have seen. Not only is Artemisia full of gorgeous and unique finds, but the staff is absolutely incredible - they are all so helpful, attentive, and knowledgable. Last week was my first time in the store, and I ended up purchasing 5 pieces of furniture/art. The owner, Sarah, was so helpful and kind - she even helped me load up a (heavy) piece of furniture I purchased! If you're in Geneva, this is the place to shop.

I frequent a lot of the 3rd street shops and this store was my first and last visit. The sales ladies were not very friendly and I didn't feel welcomed inside. Made eye contact with one, smiled, and literally nothing reciprocated. There are some cute things inside but not worth buying anything if the shopping experience is not pleasant for any customer.

Artemisia is a local gem of a store to visit anytime your in the area. They constantly are getting new artisan made treasures in. So far I’ve purchased three pieces of furniture from here, two end tables and an office/study chair and various specialty gifts for friends and family. The owner does a wonderful job of sourcing unique finds that are truly one of a kind. I love their variety of artwork they have displayed on their main level and an entire upper art gallery that is a worth a trip itself exploring. I don’t think I’ve ever been in any store that is a home to so many talented artisans from all around the world all under one roof.Another really cool fact that many might not know is I noticed on many of the artisan goods they have many give back a percentage of every item sold to women charities from abuse, educational grow, and of poverty. To me that personally speaks volume on the values of the owner and that she seeks artisans that are putting good back into the world on top of making beautifully made goods. I regularly tell my friends and family about adding Artemisia as place to check out when in the area for an afternoon of enjoying downtown Geneva. Jacquie the Store Manager also does a great job of helping you find the perfect stylish look too. She always offers suggestions on clothing that perhaps you might not normally think is you but once you give it a try on you see “wow okay this is a really cool outfit” and she gives you that extra boost of confidence to try something new and fun! This place is truly a home to many unique treasures and so fun to just explore every room admiring all the cool artisan jewelry, clothing, home decor, artwork, footwear and gift ideas.

I have been waiting for a table that I ordered online for 12 days, supposed to be ready to ship and arriving in 3 days. I called the store to enquire about the status, since the USPS tracking info showed that USPS did not receive the item yet.The people on the phone ("the manager") were so rude, and they make it feel as if it is my fault, not knowing how to track an item, or USPS fault because they have delays. This is the first and will be the last time buying from this store.
