People in this town are always saying negative things about this store. They don't like how its unorganized and a mess.
After working at Dollar General in Toulon, I have to say that this Dollar General does a great job and that it is actually the damn customers that make the place a mess. The workers here are excellent at customer service. I'll stick up for them.

usually have what we need payment can be done with a debit card after 3 months of having to pay with cash????but no checks lmao ? suggested Hathaway hardware and Food instead

It never has the merchandise in their ad especially the McDonald's coffee. It a joke. I have been there many times and they did not have the stuff in the ad. They wont get my business anymore.

My 11yr old son wanted to spend his few dollars he had. Its been a snowy night so I pulled up by the door and he ran in to get new ear phones for his game with his money. As we get home he told me he didn't have enuff money when he went to pay so the man working the register paid for his new ear phones. He described him to me so when I get up there next I would like to pay him back. But I just wanted to say thank you for having such a sweet man as an employee. That just made my sons night and restored some faith. Thank you kind gentlemen.

Employee isn't very friendly anymore, she needs a new occupation.After I checked out, when I was loading my items, I noticed I had someone else's bag, along with all my bags. I took it back inside said I must have gotten someone else's stuff. She grabbed it totally ignoring me and turned away...I was like wow your rude.
