I'm not sure what the problem is here, my ford explorer broke down in this town and I was forced to tow it to this dealer as it was the closest. The lack of communication from the service department is ridiculous. I have called, text and emailed them with no response at all. I'm very close to renting a U-Haul and towing it to a competent dealer, unfortunately I live 6 hours away. Seems like they understand that I'm screwed and just don't care. Of course, they've text me about buying a new vehicle...

We got this truck in July a 2017 had 17000 miles and never pulled anything, we started out and found out no 12v to the RV took it to 2 Ford dealership in Texas with no luck.
Ford of Galesburg got it fixed after $1800.00 in Texas. Called Ford and let them know Ford of Galesburg did the job.

This was my first ever car purchase and I went to Ford Galesburg to go buy a Ford Raptor R. I live in Arizona but I made the decision to purchase from Ford Galesburg because unlike most dealerships adding a vehicle markup they sold me my truck for sticker price which is near impossible to find in todays market. The group of guys that helped me were exceptional and made my experience one to remember. First off, the Owner, Danijel Kuna, took his time to greet me and help me with the process in more ways he can imagine. Then, Vince the Finance manager, broke down all the paperwork and the extended warranty to make it easy for me to understand creating a great level of comfort for me with it being my first ever car purchase. And lastly, once all the business side was done, Dustin helped me set up my new vehicles Ford Pass and taught me all the new little features in the truck and answered all my questions I had. After Dustin taught me about the car we then took a drive for me to get comfortable in my new vehicle! All in all, the customer service was phenomenal and my experience I had was one I’ll never forget. I would highly recommend Ford of Galesburg to anyone looking into a new vehicle because I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership.

** READ THIS REVIEW!! DON'T SKIP!! **
I don't normally write reviews, but this warrants one.....I purchased a vehicle from Ford of Galesburg and it has been the worst experience of my life. Their website says "Ford of Galesburg ALWAYS puts customers first"....This has been far from the truth. Let me explain my nightmare.
I purchased the vehicle, was on my way home and was scrolling through all of the dash information...the oil was at 10% (Talked an employee of mine that bought a car from them 2 weeks prior, they did the same thing to him.).
I had the vehicle for 4 days (drove it once after I bought it and left it in the garage for the other 3 days), service engine light comes on. Text the salesman that I dealt with and told him that I shouldn't have to be stuck with that bill. He said we can't get you in for 3 days, I told him that's fine since I thought it was something minor. Fast forward 5 hours, the car completely lost power on the highway with for my wife and 3 children. Thankfully she was able to fight the vehicle to the side of the road and she called me to pick her up. Got there and the vehicle had completely lost power and we couldn't even put the windows up. I got with the dealership and said it didn't make it until Friday like they thought it would and it broke down on the side of the highway. They told me they would bring me a loaner car and would have it towed that night. They even stopped by it after dropping me off the loaner car car to see what they could find out with it.
Fast forward to the next day. My wife drove my truck to town to take the kids to the library and noticed that the vehicle was still sitting on the side of the road....to top it off, it was pouring down rain for 4 hours.....they left it sitting on the side of the road knowing the windows were down. I stopped by the dealership on my lunch break and told them that was absolutely unacceptable. Their Sales Manager came out and said "I'm sorry, our communication fell through". All of the electrical components are now compromised and all they said they can do is detail it for me after they get it back from the mechanical department. That's not how excessive water intrusion works, you can't just detail it out. It can cause electrical issues months later. That was 2.5 weeks ago, it still isn't fixed or detailed. I still have the loaner car.
Talked to the Jeep dealership they had the car towed to in order to diagnose the issue. It was a recall for a Fuel Pump. They stated that it had an open recall for a position sensor when I bought it and that was it. It blew up and sent debris through the fuel system. The whole fuel system is now compromised and Jeep said that they won't know if it's fixable until they put the fuel pump on and try to start it (if it's just the fuel pump Jeep will pay for the fix). When I talked to the Jeep dealership, they said that it had 2 open recalls, not just the 1 Ford of Galesburg told me about. Their lack of professionalism could have killed my wife and 3 kids...
2.5 weeks after not having the vehicle, I called and talked to the Sales Manager, he said there is nothing he can do at this point. I even offered to buy a more expensive Ford Explorer that cost $10K more, but he said they can't buy the vehicle back and I would need to trade it in and take their used car price for it...my salesman friend from far away said that they can buy it back for what I paid for it, they just don't want to eat the the $$.
We will see if the Fuel Pump or if it's something major. I'm within the Illinois powertrain warranty law limit and they will have to give me what I paid for it. I'll gladly take my money elsewhere since they were no help and didn't want to make it right even after I gave them the chance. They don't care about the customer after the sale is made.

No high pressure, Dustin Evans is good to work with. Good to their word with me.
