I like Murphy's gas stations and this is a convenient location in the Walmart parking lot in Galena. You can sign up for Murphy's Rewards to get savings on fuel and it is easy to enter your phone number at any Murphy's to accumulate reward points. This location is smaller but has snacks, drinks, etc. and has a bathroom.

This place used to be decent then everyone quit because they don't pay a living wage. Now he has zombies working for him that have the personality of a rock. On the application I bet it says rudeness required. I hate coming here anymore but they have the best prices on a few things I buy, otherwise I wouldn't be back

Just went there young black guy working and I'm standing there for five min saying hello go to the side doors knock on them bathroom doors and no response a min later he comes walking up from subway with food in his hand saying sorry I had to get something....how unprofessional and dangerous just leaving the gas station unattended with all that merchandise could have got stolen he should not be working there ...as a business owner I wouldn't stand for that

Firing everyone at the Galena location was the WORST BUSINESSES decision your Company has ever made! I hope the financial hurt you feel when no one local goes to your establishment!Shame on you and may the Karma God's hit you HARD!

Cheapest gas I found in Galena, so it was a lucky find (this is summer 2022, when gas prices in Chicago are around $5.99/gallon, and even in Galena the next cheapest I saw was $5.19. It's a gas station, so not a lot to say, but what I will say is that I was surprised that the bathrooms were as clean as they were. They're accessible from the outside only--you don't go into a convenience store or anything--and could be easily ignored. They weren't sparkling, but I was expecting to be thoroughly grossed out and that wasn't the case.
