After years of looking at the same floors, countertops, and backsplash in our second home in Galena we decided it was time for a change and stopped by Knautz's to look at their selection. They were very friendly and showed us some samples at the store. Later that afternoon, Mike Knautz came to our home and we were able to discuss choices with him. Once we made a decision, Knautz's promptly sent us an estimate. We sent in a payment and everything was installed very quickly. The work was professionally done and there were no cost overruns. We found the prices very reasonable. They also coordinated their work with the plumber (we were getting a new sink in the bathroom and kitchen) and the entire project went very smoothly. We are extremely pleased with the results and would hire them again.

We had a water-damaged area of refinished maple flooring in our living room. Knautz came to the house two days after we discovered the damage. The next day their installers, using boards remaining from the original installation several years ago, were able to replace the damaged boards so well that our guests the next day did not notice that repairs had been done. The installers were meticulous craftsmen and cleaned up after themselves.
