Alway would come in with my wife, when visiting Galena, IL. Really liked there Woolwich shirts, was a little expensive. But didn’t mind supporting local businesses. Went in this weekend, and was literally followed every inch of the store by staff. I truly felt uncomfortable and just left. I can say I will not be going back to this store ever again. And yet store owners wonder why everyone Just orders everything online, you are killing your own businesses. Good luck with that.

Every year my wife and I come to Galena for the Night of Luminaria and live windows. Each year we also buy a new puzzle from this store. Well it just so happens this year we had our infant daughter with us for the first time. Seeing as how this is the biggest Christmas weekend of the year and it's a family event, you would think stores would be receptive to that. Well the lady at the door very rudely informed us that no strollers were allowed inside, and I'm certainly not taking my baby out of her warm stroller when it's 30 degrees outside and she's bundled up perfectly. Needless to say, the tradition of buying puzzles once a year from this store is over. Judging from comments, I'm not the only one with issues dealing with the employees at this store. We won't be back and we'll definitely be letting all our friends know not to step foot in this store.
We went into about 3 dozen other stores with our stroller and never had an issue. This was the only store that doesn't like children apparently.

Mature CRABBY woman at cash register barked at any customer who attempted to be helpful by refolding merchandise they had looked at. I'm wondering if the vendor supplying "Life is Good" would be upset that this seems to be your default behavior (having just read years of negative reviews). When my girlfriends and I return to Galena, finding all other shops and restaurants welcoming, we'll skip this boutique.

DON'T shop at Head to Toe Sportswear in Galena, IL - very rude staff!!! Went to this store on 6/1/2021, and my group of 4 ladies will NEVER return to this business, as the older female clerk in the store was rude to multiple guests over the 15 minute period we were in the store. In addition, they do NOT acccept returns. Unfortunately, this information was not shared with me when I made a purchase, and I now I'm stuck with a $22 t-shirt that does not fit. Another older female clerk (different one) was equally rude the next day when I tried to return the shirt with tags intact. I've visited Galena at least 6 times, and this store is OFF the list to vist. This is very unfortunate, as ALL of the other stores in Galena have marvelous, friendly staff. Like Comment Share 0

I have shopped here for years. They have never been super friendly but have " Life is Good " and other good quality merchandise. Today I went in and was told that I had to wear a mask. Hmmm. Her president, her CDC and her governor say I don't. You have lost a customer that always made your store my #1 stop. People can choose to run their businesses as they please and I can support those who I choose. Your tactics don't endear me to your business. I can shop online.

extremely rude- ignorent-crabby old lady. p.s if your miserable unhappy crabby and don't want to be there then you should quit leave or close your store down hire somebody else go away do something don't take out your issues on innocent customers i walked in with my daughter we had $40 worth of stuff in our hands already and when i went to say excuse me and ask you a question you shouted over me ignoring my question saying did you use the hand sanitizer and both me and my daughter who are mature adults i over 50 said yes then you turned around and walked away without answering my question you don't get any more rude inconsiderate condescending and nastier than that so me and my daughter politely put the products down and walked out of your store i will never step in your store and i will never spend a dime in your store and looking at the reviews this seems to be a common occurrence here maybe you should change that and close your store down cuz apparently you don't want customers so i politely took my business next door and i spent $95 there to the very nice lady and her husband and i happily will be a ongoing repeat customer ps take some notes from them and learn customer service.

I could not believe how rude the lady was when we walked in. We were in the store for less than 30 seconds before leaving. There were other friendly stores we went to instead. With all the other options, I will never return to this business. I was not surprised after reading the other reviews.

I have to share in some of the earlier sentiments posted about how rude the lady who runs this place is. We were enjoying a nice day of shopping in Galena until we went into this store. For a store owner in such a touristy town she is incredibly rude and condescending to her customers. If your looking for a t shirt or something skip this place and take your business elsewhere like we did.

Terrible customer service. I didn't even get half way through the store and the women working there, possibly the owner, was extremely rude. I was going to purchase a few items decided not to after being talked to like I was a child several times.
