Not really much that was of interest to me. No one acknowledged my existence, so I just wandered briefly. They have charms, purses, necklaces, other jewelry, and a bunch of other stuff.

We were visiting from Texas and I bought a darling poodle planter. After we got back home...15 hours away...I wished I had bought the other one for my sister. I called and asked if they'd ship it to me. I'd pay for shipping and handling. Teresa, the owner, said "no, we're not set up for that. Wished you lived closer." Wow..I guess they don't want to be bothered with decent customer service. That one insensitive lazy response cost them a great rating from me.

We bought a darling dragonfly charm that the owner said was pewter and that she hand made it. Being an artist myself I wondered about no initials identifying the artist on the back of it. I asked her if she used a mold. She said yes so I asked if she melted the pewter and poured it into the mold. She said it was a very long difficult process and pretty much dismissed me even before I had paid. Now I have found the very same dragonfly charm on Etsy. I realize more than one person can use the same mold with different materials but I am skeptical of this being hand made. The shop has many interesting items but it is very crowded and with about 4 customers it was difficult to move around in so we didn't feel we could look longer.

Items are overpriced and the store is very cramped. BEWARE of this store if you have children with you. The moment that we walked in the store owner was glaring at our children. She must have been following them around the store because she came over and fixed the displays the second they touched something. Then it happened.....My son picked up a piggy bank that looked like a basketball, dropped, and broke the item. I volunteered to pay for the item, but was honestly surprised when the store owner did make me pay for the item. She even threw the broken pieces into the garbage, not asking if I wanted to try salvaging the item.

Items are overpriced and the store is very cramped. BEWARE of this store if you have children with you. The moment that we walked in the store owner was glaring at our children. She must have been following them around the store because she came over and fixed the displays the second they touched something. Then it happened.....My son picked up a piggy bank that looked like a basketball, dropped, and broke the item. I volunteered to pay for the item, but was honestly surprised when the store owner did make me pay for the item. She even threw the broken pieces into the garbage, not asking if I wanted to try salvaging the item.
I was very surprised that the store did not accept the accident. It would be the same thing as someone spilling a drink in a restaurant or dropping their food. I could never imagine being given another and being charged for the accident.
I did express my irritation with the owner's response to the accident. I guess I just have had too many good experiences with customer service that this came as a shock. The owner told me that I should not be frustrated with her, but with my son. He was the one who dropped it. She even mentioned talking to him about it. I suppose I paid for parenting advice....
As a homeowner in the Galena Territories, we have shopped at this store previously with no problem. After this experience, we will not be coming back. We will also not be sending any of our guests to this shop.
