They always do a good job. My dog is anxious at other groomers, wiggles, and such but he behaves here. They take off just the right amount for his breed. Perfect! Never had an issue. They have been understanding when I came in late and it’s my fault. They are awesome!

She shouldn't be talking to clients about other clients or passed employees! Very unprofessional!! In addition you keep telling people that you let her go when in fact she left and thats why you're so rude to her and her clients!

We were clients of Doggie Do’s Grooming for several years and we were extremely happy with our old groomer, Amber. Unfortunately for us, Amber left Doggie Do’s to pursue other opportunities toward the end of 2021. When Amber left, the business owner, Gail, decided that she wanted to have more control over her business and from that point forward, any appointments that weren’t made at the previous appointment had to be scheduled through her. Since we are not full-time Galena residents, and I don’t know are travel schedule two months in advance, that meant I had to call Gail to schedule every appointment going forward instead of just calling or texting the groomer directly. Going through Gail to do this was extremely frustrating, inefficient, and time consuming. After going through this process several times, I suggested to Gail that she may want to consider implementing an online scheduling platform. Instead of taking my suggestion for what it was, merely a suggestion, she told me that she owned three businesses and that she did not need my advice. Then, just like clockwork (as mentioned in many of the other recent reviews), the personal attacks started. She told me that I only frequented her business because it was cheaper than most Chicago groomers and then she criticized me for tipping our old groomer too much. So, I’m cheap but I tip too much, makes total sense, right? The fact is that since Gail assumed more control of her business, the reviews for Doggie Do’s have gone downhill. I don’t believe that this is an accident; it’s a direct reflection of her additional involvement in the business. Gail might seem nice enough at first, but in reality, she’s just a very unhappy, angry person who seems to get some sort of pleasure out of directing this angry at her customers who do or say something that she doesn’t like. I would skip the drama and find a different groomer. Life’s too short!

The owner is very unprofessional. My dog's groomer left for another job and evidently the owner was not too happy about it. I dont even know the owner, yet she spent a long time on three different phone calls bashing my dog's previous groomer. I did defend my dog's groomer, but it didn't seem to matter, she kept ranting. The new groomer was so overbooked, my dog wasn't done after three hours. I came back from my errand running and was told by the owner I should go home...which is 30 miles round trip...and wait for a phone call...it would probably be another hour and a half. I ended up taking my dog home, unfinished and the owner told me I needn't come back because I was difficult. I hadn't planned on it. By the way...my groomer was fantastic! Every horrible thing that woman said about her, wasnt even close to being true. I wouldn't recommend this business for anything they do. Totally unprofessional.

My mother used to have her dog groomed here. The owner is a typical vindictive business owner. My mother waited over three hours past the appointment and when she picked up her dog, who was still not all the way groomed, she was met with a barrage of text messages telling her she was not a good customer. The groomer was overbooked, which is a very common thing, and the owner told my mother that it would be an additional hour and a half. The groomer would not even speak to her. Then the owner lied to my mother repeatedly regarding past appointments and told her to take her dog elsewhere because she was frustrated due to the lack of professionalism and communication. Take your dogs elsewhere, people. Who has the time to leave their loving pets with people like this. And to the owner, grow a heart and a conscience.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The owner Gail might seem like a nice lady but if you do anything that she doesn't like she will turn her back on you and harrass you and then talk about you to other customers. She is rude, vindictive and heartless. She doesn't deserve the business she gets. She makes you pay more than what you actually should for dog grooming
