Went here from Rockford because the price was less than a 1/4 of other places locally. Went for a teeth clean and ended up also doing a rear dew claw removal due to the nails. Vet was beyond pleasant and informative! They got us in and out. The place is small but don’t let that fool you. The doc has a huge heart and seems to really care about the patients. 100% satisfied with the service! Thank you!!

THIS IS THE WORST PET HOSPITAL FOR PETS EVER. DR. CONDIE DID A C SECTION ON MY DOG AND DELIVERED 8 PUPPIES. AND LEFT A PUPPY INSIDE OF MY DOG. 3 DAYS LATER MY DOG DELIVERED ANOTHER PUP . THE PUP WAS DEAD WHEN IT CAME OUT. IT WAS A BIG PUPPY DO I DONT KNOW HOW HE MISSED A ENTIRE PUPPY. BY HIM LEAVING A PUPPY IN MY DOG. THE DEAD PUPPY COULD HAVE KILLED HER. THE DEAD PUPPY INFECTED MY DOG AND HER MILK. SHE WAS NURSING THE PUPS OFF OF INFECTED MILK THAT I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT. BECAUSE OF THAT. 6 MORE PUPPIES DIED ALL OFF THE INFECTED MILK. I TOLD THE DOCTOR AND HE ADMITTED HE IT WAS A MISTAKE AND ONLY SAID HE WILL REFUND THE $750 FOR THE C SECTION. IM OUT OF OVEE $40,000. I BREED EXOTIC FRENCH BULLDOGS. I PLAN ON SUING THIS HOSPITAL AND HAVING THEM SHUT DOWN VERY SOON. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. FAIR WARNING ‼️

A week ago I came here for a second opinion after the 1st vet said my golden had pyometra and eyes allergy.Dr. treated her for her eyes infection. He gave eyes drop and antibiotics for her. He recommended us to get her spayed. We got her spayed and no pyometra. 1st vet was a scammed. Freeport rock!!

My cat was having a hard time breathing and after driving to 3 other vets from Stockton to Freeport, I was able to get in right away in the morning. The ladies at the desk were so nice and funny. I loved the vet too! VERY reasonable price. I will definitely be back with my other pets.

first time at the office, staff and doctor were very nice and helpful. I have a very pregnant standard poodle and he checked her and said I can come back and he will do a progesterone test to see if she is due according to my due date. But very helpful and he was very friendly. Gave a lot of information that was very helpful to me definitely would recommend not a very big place or super clean but it's the doctor that I will go back for!

This facility should be ashamed to call themselves an “animal hospital” and this isn’t even because the entire place smells like urine. Our cat was in and out of this clinic several times all week, yet somehow, each time he came home he was progressively getting worse. at first it was just a UTI and kidney stones that would clear up with medicine, but when he came back home the first time he was laying down in puddles of his own urine because he could not move or control his movements. They told us this was normal for male cats but after three visits and telling us that he would lose function of his bladder, he came home for the last time which at this point, he could not even lift his head up. All he could do was pant and meow in pain.I honestly don’t know what educated professional in their right mind would think that it was okay to discharge him at all at any point of his “treatment” here. This doesn’t even begin to scrape the surface of his final visit where we had to finally euthanize him after days of suffering under their guidance. When we got to the clinic and were guided to our room, right across the hall there was an unconscious dog being sewed closed on an operating table with the vets hands covered in blood. This is the last thing you want to see when you know you’re going to be spending the last moments with your pet. This sight wasn’t even something the general public should be witnessing as we sat in the room right across from them for about ten minutes before the vet came in. Yet when he saw our cat, all he said to us was along the lines of “yeah it’s time.” I’m sorry, but if you knew it’s time as soon as you walked in then why would he have been sent home just hours prior?Even the euthanasia process was not an intimate moment by any means. He told us it would be instant, yet here he was for several minutes walking around and prodding our cat as he was still flinching and cringing to him poking his eyeballs. It was anything but an instant death and leaving the dripping bloody needle on the counter next to us was just the cherry on top.To make matters even worse, both doors to our room were left wide open as we were sobbing and mourning our cat. Through one door, another patient was awkwardly watching us and through the back door; staff were loudly rummaging through items and even offering somebody a soda. When it was all said and done and we were on our way, all I could pay attention to was the trail of blood throughout the hallway and lobby leading to a puddle of puke. I stayed behind to talk to the front desk girl and wanted to let her know that I know this was not her fault by any means but this was just not an okay experience to have when losing a pet. I told her that seeing a dog bleeding out in the room next door is not what you expect when taking your cat to its death bed and she had the nerve to correct me saying “she was actually having a c-section.” I wanted to tell her that’s not what you care about when there’s blood dripping down the table on to the floor and your own pet is dying, but I needed to leave before I started crying in front of the poor girl. Personally, she was the only person trying to make this death comforting but that interaction alone ruined any redemption entirely.I don’t know if this entire thing was a cash grab or what, but no educated professional in their right mind should have let this poor animal suffer the way they did. He was sent home 3 times, each time getting worse and yet still suffered through his death that should have been “instant.” I honestly pray that anybody who brings their pet here doesn’t go through what we went through this week because this facility is morally unacceptable. It is a terrible experience watching your beloved pet die, but this place should be ashamed with how they were willingly letting our cat go back home in pain and suffering.

Dr. Said my cats eye was completely gone, deteriorated from an eye infection. Two different types of medications, next move was to surgically remove the eye.. Needless to say got a second opinion and nothing is wrong with her eye. She has an inverted eyelid. Wasted money! And almost had her eye removed for what, NOTHING!!!

This place is the biggest blessing. Just people who love animals, who are NOT in it for the money. They are simply there to help for the lowest cost. The cost was so low that I donated to the facility because of how caring and helpful the doctor was.
