I am only giving it 2 stars because of the good deals you can occasionally find (whether or not they go through when you check out is another story.) I don't frequent this store but I do sometimes go on Saturdays for my laundry soap needs because of the available coupons for that specific day, however, every single time I go into this little run Down store, whoever is working is ALWAYS so pitiful looking and despondent...morose...rude. Did they stop teaching people what manners are? Have these employees never been socialized before this job? I work in customer service myself because I ENJOY IT. If you don't enjoy your job, perhaps you should find a new business to establish employment with. Very easy to do. Just like saying "Hello" and "You're Welcome" which, call me crazy or old fashioned, are things people working in the customer service field would actually say and they wouldn't just ignore you and every polite comment you make. I'll be praying for the Lord to heal all the misery in those employees hearts because it's really sad. Truly. I would be so embarrassed and ashamed of myself if that's how I talked (or, more accurately, DIDNT TALK) to my customers. Get it together. It's not anyone's fault this is what you chose to do with your life. God bless.

Two female employees at Freeport Family dollar on 10/15/23 at approximately 3:50 Pm were very rude to me and my fiancé! While dealing with another customer the female (customer service associate?) if you could even call her that! Accused me of theft, and were very unprofessional at the least! Person behind register asked if I was going to pay for a product that she claims was taken on an earlier date, out loud in front of others and I asked to see proof and was denied for whatever reason they claimed and did not show me anything. Then proceeded to tell me I couldn’t return to the store with no actual evidence of anything! Super unprofessional manner I will not be returning to this store and will notify corporate how the customers are treated. Very rude and embarrassing to me and the customer they were helping in front of me! Cannot believe the low standards they hold and employees they keep!! Very disgusted!!!!

The main I wanted was Canada Dry & they had them. Signs posted before entering store masks must be worn! I love it! To me it's no difference no shirts, shoes, no service! The mask protects both of us! Staff is always friendly & helpful! Only thing missing was plastic products. I was looking for empty spray bottle to put water & peppermint oil to keep spiders away! Be careful! Stay safe! God bless you & your family always!????????????????
