I've been bringing my granddaughter here for about 5 or 6 years. They are so good, very good with children. Always friendly and do a great job.

Have been going here for a number of years - but the past year - even with calling for an appointment - you have to wait between 20 - 45 mins. No matter what tech you have. I get once in awhile things get backed up, but it is literally EVERY time.
Why take appointments if you can't get someone in at least with a 10 min wait?
They have my number - text me and say you moved my appointment. My time is valuable as well.
Decided to go to where my daughter went and on the first appointment, they texted and asked if I can come in 30 min later (2 HOURS before my appointment).

I love going to this small town nail salon. Only concern is that you need an appointment because they are ALWAYS busy but busy means people like it and come back. Prices are reasonable and the people working there are great!

Its a regular nail chop shop, nothing too special... When i came in to get my nails done, i wasnt greeted by anyone until i sat down and ws asked what service i wanted. No, hello or how are you? It was just "what service you want" The workers are also extremely soft spoken so unless you have experience going to nail salons, you wont know what theyre saying because of how soft spoken they are and the mask they wear doesnt make it better. Getting to my seat, ii noticed they didnt take the time to sanitize anything and just told me to sit down. Like i said, it was a chop shop. I asked the nail artisit if they can do a certain type of nail style and they said they can do it. During the service, my person was once again very soft spoken. I had to constantly had to ask to repeat themselves and when i did they seemed annoyed that i asked. I had to use context clues when they asked me certain questions regarding my nails, like what style, shape and nail type i wanted. The table i sat at was floating and covered in nail dust and the equipment looked shared amongst the workers, nothing was cleaned or wiped down so the residue of other clients lingered on the tools. If you care about cleanliness, i wouldnt recommend coming here. Also, the monomer they used for my acrylic set smelled rancid, it smells like dog shit. I made it a priority to scrub my hands after i got my set done cause the smelled lingered on my fingers even after i was done. The communication between the customer and nail tech isnt there, instead of telling me what to do with my hands, they pointed and if you didnt understand what they were pointing at, they would point aggresively at it again. I think the cherry on top was after i got my set done, i washed my hands and was expecting to put cuticle oil on my nails "like every other nal salon ive been too", but when i came back to my seat, they was already another client in my chair. So i had to apply my own oil and moisturizer after the harsh chemicals. Other than that, my nails turned out okay. The person i had didnt do them exactly how i wanted but they re still cute so its whatever. I understand if this is more convient for people who live in freeburg,il to get their nails done, its just a shame that another nail shop cares about money than their customers willing to support them. I say if you have the time and extra milage, defiently go the extra mileage to find a nail salon with a more friendly and cleaner enviroment. Trust me, there are some out there. Edit: And no, I will not be coming back here for any services.

I absolutely recommend Tammy Nail! It's my go to! They are friendly and very clean! Call for appointment though, they're busy!

I got a male kid to do my nails. I'm an old lady that shakes but that was no reason to sigh everything I said...my dipped nails broke within a day and had to replace all of them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Tammy Nails in Freeburg....poor results!!!

I haven't had much luck at Tammy Nails but today was different. My nail tech was "Teen" (sp?). She was meticulous, polite and held a bit of a conversation.

I moved to this are 18 months ago, went to a few shops until a friend recommended Tammy Nail. THE VERY BEST NAIL SHOP within 50 miles. Nick is the best but all the staff are wonderful. I love love this shop and will go no where else and recommend to everyone. If you are not going to Tammy Nail, you are not getting the best product and service with always a friendly smile.
