We used Safeguard for a commercial project. They recently came back for a smaller project in the same building. They were accommodating to our schedule, and left the jobsite as clean as they found it (it is very dirty/dusty work). Professional and easy to work with. Thank you!!

I have used Safeguard-RAMJACK for three different projects at my home. Dan has been my go to contact for all three projects. He is responsive and knowledgeable and his advice is always sensible and professional. Brian and his crew have done the work and they have been prompt, professional and have completed the jobs quickly and thoroughly. They left my property neat and clean after each job and always inquired if I was satisfied before they left the job site. This is the only company I will ever have do any major work on my house or property. 5 stars from me.

I received a quote from Safeguard/Ram Jack from John Walsh. I accepted and Raul and Javier showed up on time. I had some cracks in my basement that needed to be fixed and within a few hours, the sealant applied inside was visibly sealing the outside - yes, there was a crack indeed! From there I brought up another problem area that I've experienced over the years. In talking with Raul, I found he has 25 years experience in this field - these guys don't grow on trees, and this is what you get with Safeguard. He did a water test and located the issue that had stumped us for years, showed us the issue and took pictures. He also took the time to look around the rest of the house for other possible issues. Raul is a walking encyclopedia of basement waterproofing. We will have them back to fix this, and so happy to be working with Safeguard.

Such thoughtful and fully developed recommendations to my issues. What I thought would have been a huge issue was minor in comparison. And they left the place tidier than when they arrived!!

The best company to work with! They did an incredible job pouring us a new patio and garage floor and they also improved our drainage! They worked so hard and even walked our dog! Highly recommend this company I will be using them over and over again. John Walsh is the best!Service: Concrete sidewalk building

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Here is a list so you can read everything we've been through with this company. Spent over $10,800 in 2020 to have interior drain tile and a landing drain connected to a new sump pumpHad water enter through the doorway by the drain 3 times since 2020, with the most water coming inside September of 2022Called Safeguard in September 2022. Safeguard refused to even check the system, sent us a quote for $1,800 more work to "fix us up" without even checking anything on our propertyHad a 3rd party company out to inspect the drain that Safeguard refused to check.Discovered they breached our contract and connected the drain to village stormwater tiling without our consent or the consent of the village.Discovered they did not get a final inspection with the villageHave never received as much as an apology. Instead, Safeguard blamed us saying the drain was clogged with leaves, and that is why we flooded. This was disproved by Roto-Rooter. The company refused to fix anything and did not respond to requests until I submitted a formal complaint on the BBB website exposing the breach of contractHave spent months (5) trying to come to an agreement we are comfortable with in order to have them out to fix the workThey do say they will repair the work for free, BUT...They tried to get us to waive their liability should the village fine us for the stormwater connectionThere will be NO WARRANTY of this free work. So, if the concrete starts breaking a few months after the fix, they're not liableThey claim they did not connect the drain incorrectly, and they are doing this fix to appease us (even though I have my contact that clearly states what was to be done, and a signed letter from the president stating that they did in fact do something else)As a result, we asked for a simple 1 year work and materials warranty just to ease our fears about something breaking in the future. Their response- WE WILL NOT ALTER THIS CONTRACTBob, John and Karen have been nothing but awful to work with. They are argumentative at best. The amount of times sarcasm and ALL CAPS have been used in emails by Karen, as well as the amount of times my husband has been screamed at over the phone or in person by Bob and John are immeasurable. As soon as you write them a check and they finish the work, they're done. Even if they blatantly breach your contract (like with us), or the work is faulty, they will not fix or stand by anything in my opinion. They claim they have one of the strongest warranties in the business- I assure you this is a lie. If they do work and it never breaks, consider yourself lucky, because if something goes wrong and they treat you like us, they will not help you in any way shape or form to solve the problem. Instead, they will blame you as the customer and ignore you until you become too loud to ignore.Do yourself a favor, spend a little bit more money and go somewhere else that actually backs up their work and treats their consumers well. This is not that place. RUN AWAY.

We had a great experience with RamJack. We had several companies assess our foundation issue and felt that this company’s was the most thorough and trustworthy. The work was completed as specified and everything was returned back to their original place when it was finished (bricks laid back down, plants back in the ground).

Our work was done in January. Fortunately, before snow or the ground was frozen. Discovered damp carpeting in a basement closet and an area close to the closet. Ramjack had done work at our house prior to us buying it. So, I called them hoping it was under warranty. It was not. They came out immediately to assess the situation and completed the work within the next week. It was determined that there was water seeping in around two window *****. They had to dig, seal and repair. It took the better part of a day...6-7 hours. I was more than pleased that the weather held out so that we did not have to wait until April or May. Everything seems to be fine so far. It wasn't cheap, assuming that type of work is not inexpensive. We've dried the carpeting and have some molding to replace from the dampness. I would definitely recommend them.

Highly disappointed because of calling them out for my sump pump because it was beeping. I have a warranty but they said my line froze and was charged over $100. They said the line should have been placed underground. Why do I have to pay if you installed my line above ground.

Pure scam. Money was taken. Work was not done. Emails were not answered. Makes you realize why there is no website or location to find online.
