“Schaeffer Auto in Elk Grove Village, IL ~ are an excellent auto repair shop. They fixed my car in under a week. Even though we’re all experiencing delays on certain vehicle parts due to all of the strikes, they were able to obtain the necessary parts and repair my vehicle pretty quickly. I didn’t even have to go through the hassle of making any payments because they handled everything with the insurance company. And the insurance company paid them directly. Schaeffer also went ahead and scheduled a rental car for me which picked me up directly from their shop at the same time that I dropped off my car. And when my car was ready, I just dropped off the rental at Schaeffer and the rental car company came and picked up their car.Schaeffer also buffed out the rest of my car that had minor scratches, washed and vacuumed everything nicely too. The service was outstanding, keeping me updated on the progress. David O’Brien, was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. He explained how the process worked. Two friendly guys arrived on the scheduled day, worked out how to best remove the glass ( they had to break the mirror to take it off the wall) and took all the glass pieces away with them.
