This Walgreens location on Wolf and Laraway is noted for having pharmacy staff who make a significant difference. In one instance, after being unable to find a medication for a sick dog at three other pharmacies, a customer was directed to this store. The pharmacist was GREAT, easily identifying the medication even when the customer could not pronounce it correctly from the script. The customer was able to get the medication quickly, and their dog felt better. Another staff member, Dale, is highlighted as one of the best people at this location, providing excellent customer service and being a great leader. He is always on the run, keeping the store clean and organized, while still taking time to help. The store itself is very clean with very nice customers, and the team is generally willing to help. However, a noted issue is with the cashier dynamics. Some cashiers who have been there longer act like they own the register, logging others off rudely or looking mad if someone else is using it. This creates a situation where, despite being hired as the main cashier, some employees end up working more as stock people because others rush to the register even when it is not necessary. The suggestion is for the store to manage register time more fairly, allowing each cashier dedicated time instead of having everyone compete for it. Overall, it is a place where pharmacy service excels and the store is well-kept, though internal coordination at the front could be improved.
Dale is one of the best people I have ever dealt with at this Walgreens location. He provides excellent customer service. and a great leader. He is always on the run, getting the store clean and organized, but he always takes the time to help you. Thank you, Mr. Dale.
