Use to go here for every oil changed. Moved out of Frankfort, was in the area and decided I’d stop in for an oil change. Wow. This place got flipped upside down.

1st time in 22 years of trying a new place since ownership sold the one I had been going to for years closer to my home, but no where near my work.I went there for an Oil Change before work and asked explicitly on an ETA since I needed to be done by 1:30 PM CST (hedged 15-30 mins just in case i.e. I could have been a bit late if I had to be), they told me it was just an oil change in garage to pull up too, so again asked for an ETA and eventually just flat out got a conformation that they would be done with mine well before 1:30 PM, after putting it in park and going through messages for apparently over an hour I noticed it was approx 1:45 PM and had to erase my Novel to leadership team, so I could send the abridged message on what was needed before I got back and missed the critical HIPPA info for them to consider as it appeared they were finally done, but just a fake out, so I had to have the cars now lined up at the other 2 garage doors behind me all move so I could get out and on the road, so I could make it in a few early still since it was right down the street. So for a quick lube place, a stated ETA (incorrect one) and conformation that they were just finishing an oil change and to pull to the far door and that they'd be finished before 1:30 PM by 2 different people as I needed to be to work 15 mins away by 2:00 PM (I didn't know what end they wanted me to pull up too since pull up to the end is a bit vague when there are 2, unless it meant operationally efficient I wouldn't care), so not only did they lose potentially long term business (if all was on the up and up), but like most things they oversold and wasted the time I could have used to go down the street or scheduled to go another day and had to have the others all back out, so I could get out of there and don't see why I should give it another try and just look for a new QUICK lube that at least doesn't lie to opportunities and take my business and others there now.Why is it so difficult in this world to go by UPOD a simple concept that makes sense just about every way you look at it, Under Promise Over Deliver, low bar means easy win and happy customer, breaking the bar and throwing it at them really doesn't install confidence in a place and/or its people, since starting out with a lie is about as good as when buying vehicle's advertised online and then asking the price at the dealership and the sales guy say's they have to get the book and look (Internet Sales Manager Doesn't know bs) then tell you 35% higher then it is advertised for, which really gives a gauge on the integrity of the sales person and also that they will say w/e to close and aren't that bright or find a lot of ppl that don't research things, regardless I've learned that buying a car the last 20 yrs or so, that this "trick" to gauge the sales guy seems to be 99% the norm and still looking for that 1% as I prolly have at least another 20 years left in me to buy from them if I ever find one.So Middle of the week, no lines, quick lube design/business model, conformations on ETA and that it would be completed by a specific time for sure (assumption if something was actually wrong I'd get that taking longer if I choose to have it done) and the lying is not a great way to start especially since my vehicle never even got inside the garage to start the oil change and I just burnt up time, gas, miles and lost productivity and more then likely a decent opportunity cost lost on my end now that I need to find a new place and the time to go when it is Easter as well (places closed) sad I was really hoping this place was on the up and up especially since the model is built around convenience and the location good, hell I bought some of their IPO years back $VVVThey get 2 stars only because most filter out 1 star reviews and maybe this isn't an issue for you, but imo it says a lot about ownership (bet the reply's aren't he owner and case #'s are dealt w overseas too), honesty or I don't know isn't t

Been going here since before it was Valvoline. Keep my car in great shape. Just took it for an oil change and ever since my car has been leaking oil. I even questioned if everything was okay when I was the only car there and they seemed to have been doing something for a very long time under my car.. will never go back here and strongly recommend others to stay away.My driveway has never had a drop of anything on it. This is what it looks like 1 week after my oil changeDO NOT GO HERE

Came in for an oil change today for my 2014 Malibu. Ricardo, Miles, & Sonya worked on my vehicle for me and i was pleased with the services. Very informative with the suggestions about my vehicles due to me being high in miles. I’m definitely coming back for future services! Appreciate you alllllll. Friendly staff and you can tell they’re in touch with one another just off how they operate.

You could do a better job yourself! This place is a RIPOFF! And they say you need special oil and it comes out of regular pump. 10w30 is special oil? I doubt they changed filter, they wouldn't show me my old one. I was charged double! I wish I would have read these reviews first. Oh...And didn't reset oil sensor and I had to go back. How do they get away with this!!

This place used to be express lube and wash, and those great guys were able to do an oil change in ten minutes, and it didn't cost $80. Now, as Valvoline, its terrible. It seems like they don't have the same staff. My mom had her Kia Sorrento done here (has been going there for years) and the guys couldn't figure out where the air filter was. It's not a special car. Why did it take an hour for them to call their management to figure this out? And another half hour to have it finished? And they tried charging $80. Won't be coming here anymore. Ridiculous

Hands down best quick lube shop in the area! I’ve been going to this location for a few years, but with the recent ownership change and rebranding to Valvoline… quality and customer service improved even further. I brought my ‘18 Explorer in last week in need of an oil change, and also I had been putting off replacing transmission fluid… mostly because of how expensive it was to do at the dealership. I had no idea how many other services that Valvoline offered here. Kieran was awesome, he mentioned to me several additional services like tire rotations, differential drain/fill, trans fluid replace, etc. Rather than $500 and 4 hours of my time at the dealership… I was out the door in 35 mins for $265 with a happy engine and transmission in my Explorer. Thanks again to Kieran and the team over there, keep doing what you do! I’ll be back in another 3,500 miles!

I bought a groupon for an oil change which included tax and they still charged me an additional $15 dollars which negates the groupon discount altogether. Never coming back.

The worst place ever!!! Been to this location many times but new owner needs to hire people that know how to work on cars!!! Oil change on my new Suburban only to find out 2 blocks after my so called oil change that the tech put in new oil with out draining the old oil!!!!! To top this off I spent 45 mins waiting in line. Lucky I caught this otherwise the engine would have seized. Results they made me wait another 30 mins to fix a oil change that was not done !!! Do not take you vehicle here !!unless you enjoy risking your vehicle!! Sad been going to the same place 30 years . WILL NEVER GO there again!! No free oil change fact manager did not say sorry but offered 20% off next time I stop for a oil change???Crazy poor customer service l ack of knowledge just a bad place.

I went to this Frankfort Valvoline location 11/27/23. I just needed air in my tires. Kieran was able to assist me, he asked me to pull my car around the front since all the bays were filled with vehicles. Kieran put air in all my tires in no time he has amazing customer service skills. He is going to be very successful in life!! I hope Valvoline appreciates him as much as I did. Keep up the great work.

Be cautious when getting your oil changed here. A few days ago I got my oil changed and one of the staff left an oily rag under the hood tucked into my engine. After I drove a few miles, the rag caught on fire. In addition the first time I came here, the worker did not properly put on the engine cover after taking it off- kinking the lines that clip onto it. The staff was nice and friendly while I was there, but as you imagine, after seeing what kind of work was done on my car I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service I received.

Loved everything about it. Didn’t have to wait. They were quick and fully staffed. I just didn’t like the smell made light headed. and next time need to go into their waiting room.
