I’ve been a customer of VS Financial Services for 10 years and HIGHLY recommend the team for your tax preparation. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and the owner (Valerie) takes the time to answer any questions in great detail. Not only do they help with my tax returns, but they proactively help to provide guidance on my overall financial picture from a tax perspective- providing recommendations and direction to better position myself financially.I have worked in the financial industry for 15+ years and recognize the benefit of a GREAT financial partner when I see one.

I love this place! The accountants are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have been doing my taxes for 8 years and always work to get me the most in my return. When I had questions about investments, the offered advise and showed me my options to get the most out of my investments. I appreciate the fact that they are a small local business and privately owned.

Have been using VS Financial for years in Indiana, where we live.When Val, the owner, purchased the tax office in Illinois a few years back, from whoever owned the book of clients at the location previously, we didn’t hesitate to follow to Frankfort, 30 mins away, after she made the decision to consolidate locations - closing the Indiana office which was 2 blocks from my house.We’ve had exceptional service since day 1, from the entire staff. I ask a lot of questions, and the time is always taken by their office to thoroughly answer and provide direction on the best tax strategies for my financial situation. Highly recommend.

She completely failed me and my husband and my uncle. Never filed our taxes this year and was a nightmare to get our paperwork back to be able to go some where else. Done business with her for years and all the sudden she got super shady. Super unprofessional.

Valerie has filed out taxes before, but this time she has disappeared along with our paperwork. I have received no response to emails or phone calls. This is unacceptable!

We had the same issue as the previous, except worse. Paperwork dropped off over a year ago. Taxes never sent in for the whole family. We could not get our paperwork back after numerous phone calls. We are filing a formal complaint with the IRS. We are also planing to take legal action. This person should be investigated. We are gathering others as well. The place is costing people money and potential legal action of their own. We had to have a county sheriff go there to retrieve our paperwork. Horrible experience all together.

Horrible, horrible experience. Dropped off documents to have 2020 taxes prepared. Never heard from Val or anyone at her office. We tried to contact her and never ever got a response back. Finally in July 2021 her work associate, Dawn, replied to one of my messages stating that we were not clients and that they could choose who they work with. We reiterated that at this point we just wanted the documents returned. Dawn also stated that she would "hurt me" if we caused any trouble for Val. It has now been two weeks and we still don't have our documents back and we live in the same town as her office. Val continues to not respond to our calls or messages What kind of customer experience is this? and to be threatened? Anyhow, I would think twice before engaging in her services. Clearly all tax professionals are not "professional".

Beware scam artist!!! I was referred to this accountant by a relative and had paid $950 for her to incorporate my business after several non-returned phone calls I had found another account to do the job for half the price in less than 24 hours when I had asked for a refund check she did not send me one After multiple requests Unfortunately I am unable to leave less than one star. I am currently still waiting to get my money back

The owner didn't follow through with the promise of completing our tax return within 3 days. When 2 weeks passed and we still hadn't heard from her, I called the office. The secretary told me some cockandbull story about needing extra paperwork. I called the IRS for verification and they had no idea of what I was talking about. We were given the run around every time we called for 4 weeks. When my husband went to the office to get our paperwork, the owner, who was on the phone, saw him and hid in the back. I called to tell her that he'd be back later that day and she agreed to have our paperwork ready for him. When he returned, the office was closed. I called the next day and was told that we were unwelcome at the office, that they would mail our paperwork the next day. After a week and not receiving our paperwork, I called and discovered the owner was driving around with it in her car. Consiquently our paperwork was about 6 weeks late getting to the IRS. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Love this place. People are friendly and getting an appointment was easy. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. owning 2 businesses my time is always spoken for. Cost was exactly what I was expecting. I will miss Prudence, she did our taxes for 20 years. A true friend to our family. Valerie worked for her and took over she is very good at what she does and is familiar with most of the old customers. I will be here for 20 more years. Thank you VS Financial
