If i can give 0 star or even _ i will give it . Bad team and unprofessional. I called ashley and she promised me she will put my son’s name in the waiting list and he will start January . I asked her 3 time if she’s sure she was like yeah i guarantee you there’s nobody before you and he will start January .I scheduled a tour and before 2 hours they canceled it and then she asked me to reschedule next week, when I went they told me there is already people in the waiting list !! And we can’t promise you that he will start January !I was really surprised and disappointed.

after attending another daycare in the area & having a terrible experience in the preschool classroom, we didn’t think we’d send our kids to another daycare. Shannon made us feel very comfortable & welcome. Kim in the infant room did a wonderful job with our youngest & always thanked us for everything we were doing as parents. Sad to see her go but Madison did a wonderful job taking over the classroom. Marissa welcomed our oldest with open arms & helped her in the bathroom when needed (something the previous daycare told us they couldn’t do.) & she napped on the first day! Marissa is always doing such cute little activities with the kids. She makes learning fun! Our oldest no longer throws a tantrum going to daycare, she actually says she loves going to “school!” Our youngest is now moved up to the goldfish classroom & we absolutely love the teachers in that room! They are so patient & make the young ones feel independent. The curriculum really gets the kids ready for kindergarten, they’re actually learning in a structured environment (something the previous center lacked.) The communication at the office end is awesome, we are constantly getting updates about how our children’s day was. This daycare provides so many family opportunities during holidays & each month, they actually appreciate your family being at their center. They also bring in a lot of outside businesses that engage your children (karate & soccer just being a few.) If you’re thinking of sending your child to a daycare in the area this is the place to be! We couldn’t be happier! Thank you to everyone at KA, your hard work & love for the children doesn’t go unnoticed.

My son attended KA from 16 weeks to around 18 months. Our early experiences were good, but once he was moved to the 18 month old class, things took a terrible turn downhill. Every day at pick up he would be sitting alone crying with no teacher attending to him or attempting to comfort him. Additionally, a classmate scratched his face (multiple scratches all across his face) in TWO different incidents on the SAME day. He was also pushed to the ground by that same child on the same day. When I picked him up, he was on the floor crying unattended and the lead teacher hadn’t even realized that he’d been hurt a second time. I never received an incident report and the Directors best solution was to put him in an alternate class. At that point, the damage was done and the trauma he experienced from being attacked by another child made him refuse to get in the car to come to KA. He felt unsafe, those conditions proved to be unsafe, so we had no choice but to remove him from the school. Proceed with caution if your child is of age for the 18 month old room.

Our son attended this school for 3.5 years. He was well taken care of and I always felt comfortable when leaving him there. Excellent place for children!!!

My son has been at Kiddie Academy for 3 years. He requires OT support. KA has been incredibly accommodating to him receiving this service and assisting with his sensory needs. The teachers all LOVE these kiddos and you can see it when you pick up and drop off your child. On my son's first day, the teacher gave him a big hug and all the kids came up to him saying, "Hi!" and sharing toys with him. These teachers not only teacher a curriculum that aligns with common core state standards (for all you educators out there!), but they also teach the social/emotional skills that many other facilities don't teach. Even during the 2020 shut down, these teachers provided parents with activities for the kiddos to do. Their app is great at communicating the food my son ate (or didn't eat), what the activities of the day are, fun photos of him playing, and diaper changes/potty breaks. I'm glad I chose KA and my son is happy to go everyday.

Do not send your child here. My toddler attended KA Frankfort and came home with bruises on her arm. I learned after asking the director to review the video footage that the bruises were caused by a teacher. Kiddie Academy refused to disclose this teacher’s name or allow me to view the video. After DCFS failed to do a thorough investigation, my husband and I pleaded with the KA director and owner to allow us to view the video for our peace of mind that our child was safe there and the situation was fully addressed. They refused. I was forced to file a police report at which time KA kicked my child out of their academy. This is absolutely unacceptable and infuriating that we were pushed to such extreme measures just to verify the safety of our child and other children that attend this daycare. The owner has made it very clear he cares about protecting himself and does not care about the parents or children that attend KA Frankfort.

Very expensive - even for less than 5 days per week. Curriculum seems fine. Some of the staff is too strict and unsympathetic to children. They need to learn to be more accommodating. They also have holiday parties in which they will exclude your child from if it happens to fall on a day they normally wouldn't be at school. I will not be sending my younger children here for pre school due to this. It's very upsetting to the child when they make it known they're missing out on a fun, should-be-all-inclusive event.

I have sent my three children to KA starting in 2017. Each of my children started at around 16 months old and each one blossom tremendously under the care at KA. My oldest child is now a kindergarten student, and he was beyond prepared for the start of his formal education-- not only academically but socially as well. Even though he and his friends have moved on to bigger things, he always wants to come visit when we drop his sisters off. I believe that is saying something! :)

I can not speak to any one else's experience because I am not in their shoes, but my kiddo has been going here for the last year and a half and has been cared for, loved, encouraged, and has learned so much. I appreciate the teachers and staff for helping my kiddo grow!

They have had teachers here who abuse children. They will come home with bruises and the school will be super shady about it

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They do not follow the DCFS regulations to keep children safe. It is absolutely awful. A child should never be sent home with bruises from a TEACHER. As a childcare provider myself, it sickens me to see how this facility is run. Do not send your child here if you want honest communication and transparency.

Very unprofessional and yelling at children in the classroom. These woman need to attend seminars multiple times a year to remember how your supposed to act and treat children potential employees and the environment. Very sad
