James, thank you so very much for not being able to help my wife do our 2023 Taxes.
This is the FIRST Ttime in my 18 year Military career that we've been told "Taxes for a Military Member is too much for you to work on right now and your not able to give the time that it deserves, this would be too much of a process and we are wrapping it up at this location".
So.... Thank you for referring us to a different location, instead of taking care of a loyal H&R Block customer.

2 years in a row I made an in person appointment online only to be called and told there's no one available. When asked why they have this feature, the receptionist said "I don't know"....I suggest to others to not book your appointments online or maybe choose another location. I chose this one since it's most convenient. Not good business etiquette in my opinion.

I have been using H&R Block for many years and this year I have had the most trouble that I have ever had! I made an appointment for 1/21/23 and confirmed it, 1/2 hour before the appointment I was called and they said they had to cancel due to tax pro availability? Later that day they called and said they had a new opening at 2pm so I went in for my taxes to be done. After sitting with the tax pro for over 2 hours my taxes were still not completed due to some kind of error in the system? I was told that they would correct the issue and I could come in and sign my return the next day ( Sunday) they said they would call me to confirm- no call until late in the day and I was told it would take a day to get the issue resolved. Monday- no call again, Finally received a call on Tuesday saying they still hadn't resolved the issue. On Wednesday we called them and they informed me that they had resolved the issue and I could come in at 9am on Thursday and sign all of my papers. I arrived at the office at 9am and there was no one there, even though their sign states they open at 9am? I waited until 920 am and the receptionist showed up, I went inside and signed the paperwork while my wife came later in the day to also sign ( all of which should have been done on my original visit). I was told the taxes would be electronically filed on Thursday the 26th . I called on Thursday to make sure that they were filed and I was told that they were. I waited until Monday the 30th of January and had not received a confirmation from the IRS that my return had been accepted ( which I had always received in the past). My wife called on Monday and was told there is another issue with getting my return submitted, with no real explanation! My wife was told that they would call here back to inform her of the status. As of today 1/31/23 we still have not received any updates and this is becoming very frustrating to say the least! They are calling their personnel " tax professionals" and I can not even get my taxes completed and filed in a timely manner!
