I have went here for years and never had any major problems. They do not take Medicaid that I know of, or it might be dependent on the doctor you want, for anyone looking. They only take regular insurance PPO HMO etc. or Medicare. I have BCBS Blue Choice and I am covered there. I see Jennifer Johnson and her Assistant Amy and I have never once had a problem with them. They are extremely polite and helpful and Jennifer actually listens to what you have to say. She will help u order whatever tests are needed and also help refer you to any doctor u would need outside of them. I have also seen Dr Limon for years and Latoya who are also great and will help you with anything. Dr Demaertelaere Dr Horodysky are also wonderful to see along with Udovich. Horodysky has been practicing since the 1970s and is very very educated on pretty much everything as he’s an internal medicine doctor. I have pretty much seen every doctor at this place and never had a problem with any of them. So I don’t know what all these bad reviews are about, but they are just as good as any other Primary doctors office out there. Also when you go here, if you have looked into your conditions or symptoms, they will gladly help u get orders to run the tests you need, to get you better faster. As long as they also agree you are correct on what you’re saying you think is wrong. You might say that’s their job to look into your health issues, and it is, but it does help them know what else they might need to test for when you find new information on your illness. It will also help get you better faster, when u have put your own effort into figuring out your health, as far as long term health issues go. You don’t have to, but I find it helpful to not only me, but also them when I find out information about my own health issues that can help them treat them better, or help them find the answers they would need to treat them based off newer medical research that’s come out. Anyways, if your looking for a primary care doctor, I would definitely give them a chance, it would 100 percent be worth your time. As far as the front desk comments on here, I’ve never had any major issues with them that would cause me to never go there again. There is always minor issues at any doctors office regarding billing or anything else, but anything that came up was always fixed quickly. So, you don’t have to worry about anything.

I worked for a cleaning company at this location for months. Job was done to the T almost every single time. I still got nasty notes and got complaints made on me almost every single day. One of the offices in the back had a cabinet with at least 3 bottles of high strength whiskey in it, that waned every time I showed up to work. Go figure.

I’ve been a loyal patient with Hedges since 1995, so currently 28 years. The customer service and front desk hospitality did start to diminish over the years but I didn’t let that be because my doctor was good. But today was the last straw. They called me hours before my appointment to let me know that Dr. Julie Limon doesn’t want to take my insurance. Even though their website says they do and other providers at hedges do too. To add insult to injury, before making the appointment they confirmed with Julie that she would see me. Then made me wait an entire month just to cancel the appointment hours before seeing me. Julie has also made some questionable decisions on what’s considered an urgent care vs a waiting matter. AVOID this clinic and doctor at all cost.

Tried to make an appointment with "my doctor " demartalare. Same issue as last year, a respiratory issue which he prescribed an inhaler .I was asked if I was vaccinated. After answering I was told that I can get a telehealth visit. I asked how can you listen to my lungs via computer? I was told that after the televisit I can meet someone in the parking lot.!!!! Wth?? What kind of back alley show is this? I hung up and immediately switched doctors. Now I can't be seen by the new doctor until may Probably better than hedges though I can't believe they're treating me, or anyone like this !!!It's 2023 the pandemic is over. I took a test .(negative) didn't matter to them. Omg still can't believe it!!!

Endure torture as I finally found a match for a primary doctor, but unsure for how much longer.Called today as I have pink eye and will need eye drops. Front desk put me on hold and 45 minutes later picked back up and when I said hi uttered "just a minute" and promptly hung up on me.I call back and after 15 minutes of waiting I get through, just long enough to hear sometime take a breath before hanging up call.I know staffing is hard and front desk can be severely underappreciated, but these actions are just obscene.

Have been a patient here for a few years. Called to get in today and could not see my pcp, no biggie I could see the nurse practitioner. Nope, the nurse practitioner only sees vaccinated people in the office, even though I have been there recently as have a few others I know that are not vax. How is this a thing? Even the manufacturers agree it does not stop spread! This is pure prejudice and will not be tolerated.

Dr Demartele is a wonderful doctor. He is very easy to talk to and is very thorough. He is very kind and professional. His nurse Jesse and Barb from the lab are wonderful also. The facility is very clean.

Our family has been going to Hedges for about 13 years now. They have great doctors. The urgent care (precovid) is very convenient. I probably had problems with them not answering their phone maybe no more than 3x out of the 13 years. Never had a problem with insurance billing.

I recently tried to schedule a women's well visit at this clinic. They denied me an appointment because I previously scheduled a visit in 2013 that I missed and didn't cancel. They said I can never be seen at the clinic because of this 1 missed appointment back in 2013.

The front office staff is horrible, I can't believe they decide if the patient is sick enough to come and when. They dont even know how to answer the phone. Dr. Olsen was wonderful , after she left the place went down hill. They are very rude and should not be in Frankfort we have higher standerds.

Doctors wonderful there. And I can't say enough positive about them. . Phone system terrible. Tells you that you are in a queue and there are people ahead of you. The most recent was 3. After 15 minutes it disconnects you no matter what. You can leave a call back number and have them call you but why if I'm 3rd in a queue doesn't anyone eventually answer. I have had instances where the phone people ask very personal questions that I really only want to share with my doctor. When I tell the individual that they say I have to tell them to see a doctor. I don't agree.

I used to love hedges clinic. My entire family went there for every need possible. They had one of the best doctors: Dr Olson. She has since retired from family medicine, in doing so the clinic decided they would ban our entire family for LIFE from every being able to come and see another patient. Apparently, they did it to several other patients as well. However, they are subsequently accepting new patients. Really poor service and absolutely ridiculous that they would ban people because a doctor decided to retire. Stop accepting new patients then if you can't afford to hold on to the ones you already had

I have been trying to contact my family doctor here, Dr. Limon, for some time but the phone system is atrocious. First it tells me how many people are ahead of me in the phone queue, then puts me on hold for five minutes, then tells me "Extension such-and-such is not available" and hangs up on me! And this was without entering a specific extension; all I was trying to do was call the main number. I can't even let them know about it because the only contact option they provide on their Website is -- you guessed it -- their phone number. I ended up going to an immediate care facility much closer to me and received perfectly good care there. In fact, that's probably what I'm going to do from now on since I only go to a doctor for a specific problem. Too bad they lost a long-time patient because of their phone system.

It would be nice to have updated information/ message about office hours changing due to the current situation. The message says they are open till 5. I have called 3 times well before 5 and they are already closed. So, when is a person supposed to call to get a prescription refill? I have to call every month for a refill because of the medication I am on. I cannot call too early in the month because they won't refill it. I am still working Monday -Friday. I cannot call at 8:30 and no one answers during lunch hours. Change your message or have your answering service takes messages!

Dr.Limon came in with the most unprofessional attitude I have ever seen in a doctor, 0/10 would never come back again.
