Bought a vintage Chevy van from this dealership a few months ago. For the most part, purchase was smooth. Only problem is, the dealer told me the price was “out the door” which usually means taxes are included in price. Photos included for reference. When I get home I find out this is not the case and I owe $750+ in tax on top of the vehicles purchase price.
Also attached is a list of things I have had to have done to the vehicle in just a short time owning it. Replaced steering wheel due to a faulty airbag, replaced the entirety of front and rear brake assemblies. The list goes on and on. Lots of cheap aftermarket parts that were not installed correctly as well.
I love the van and am glad to be able to fix it up the way I want it, but Frankfort Auto Haus has cost me thousands unnecessarily. Their salesman should be footing my tax bill.
