I’m incredibly pleased with VCA Noyes! We live in California, but our cats had to temporary stay with our family in Illinois while we were looking for a new house. When one of our cats had a recurring issue with her neck gland swelling, her guardian took her in and the veterinarian was very understanding and quickly prescribed the needed medication that always helps her. When months later, we got the cats back and our pet insurance had an issue processing the claim for the visit, I reached out to VCA Noyes and they were polite and quick to respond. The manager was super nice. She called me back, then immediately called Trupanion (our insurance) and resolved the issue.I couldn’t be happier with this place. Highly recommend VCA Noyes!

Super knowledgeable vets, and everyone is so sweet. As soon as they heard about the passing of one of my Guinea pigs they sent me a card which was super sweet and they have helped me SO much with 3 of my pigs and always get me an appointment asap. I 100% would recommend vca in fox river grove to anyone looking for a vet that treats your animals like their own.

Without a doubt, Dr. John Zimmerman is the kindest, most caring and knowledgeable veterinarian who has ever cared for one of my pups. He came highly recommended to me by a friend after we recently adopted a pup that is blind in one eye. When she woke up one morning with her blind eye swollen shut and infected, we rushed her to her ophthalmologist thinking it was related to her blindness. I called Dr, Zimmerman to discuss the diagnosis and he reassured me we were on the right path and provided alternative courses of action that we could consider if the medications she was prescribed didn’t work. He then called me every day for almost a week to check on her progress. Just knowing that Dr. Zimmerman was aware of the situation and available to provide further assistance if needed, was a great source of comfort to me. He is just an amazingly caring human and I am beyond grateful for my friend’s recommendation.

Performed work without consent. Gave vaccines without consent. No 30 day billing cycle, no signage mentioning such policy except fine print. Told my girlfriend that she doesn't deserve to have pets, because she couldn't pay for work they performed without her consent. You've been warned.

To say that I was impressed is an understatement and a 360 degree experience from Fox Lake animal hospital where we accidentally visited. Long story. I found that ALL of the assists were supremely helpful, kind and gentle with my dog. Extremely intelligent, I found our vet Dr. Schweitzer to be reliable and not interested in unnecessary surgery. I was relieved. I will be bringing all my fur babies here. So grateful I found them!!!

We have had the good fortune of having seven of our pups, several birds and a turtle cared for by Dr. Zimmerman and his staff over the past 20 plus years. These wonderful people have connected gently and thoughtfully with us about each pet's individual problems. We have never experienced any rush or condescension. Dr. Zimmerman and his staff make the time to answer your questions and to help find the best and most practical solutions for each situation. They maintain a quiet confidence that is contagious. We are grateful to have their care.

I think we have seen all of the various veterinarians at VCA here over the years and know that our animals get great care here. My husband and I are particularly grateful for the hard times they helped us navigate saying goodbye to our cats. Great doctors and support team, we trust VCA with our kids and are grateful for all they do!

Went in with a sick pup. Tried to give me a discounted rate for X-rays he may or may not need. Told me I had to decide now. When I said I was surprised by the charges and felt uncomfortable with the offer, they told me they were sorry I felt that way. Then charged me an extra 300 dollars for things I didn’t even know they were doingWalked away feeling very much like they were taking advantage of my vulnerability with a sick.

We own a reactive and anxious GSD mix. The doctors are INCREDIBLE and so patient with her, especially Dr. Allurie. She moves at our dogs pace and never pushes too hard. Not only does she give the best care, she celebrates the wins with us! Today was the first visit where Dr. Allurie got a good listen to her heart, did a vaccine, and blood draw with NO reactions! ?

I've never met a group of more caring individuals. I just started working there, and I've seen first hand how each pet is treated with love and compassion and every employee is invested in the pet's health and recovery.

We were referred to Dr. Zimmerman by a friend. So we took are new pup 3 month old German Shepherd with an injured paw to see him. We kind of rescued Boba and thank God we did. Dr. Z and the staff took such good care of him. They were so kind and thoughtful not just to our pup but to us as well. At 5 months old he is on his way to being very healthy. I recommend VCA NOYES to anyone looking for a good Dr. Dr. Zimmerman is simply the best.

Friendly, caring staff. They have been good with all the animals we have brought to them. For some reason, Google Maps shows VCA in the wrong place. It's in the shopping center where Jewel is, where Blockbuster used to be.

We came to VCA Noyes in early 2018, shortly after adopting our pit/boxer mix, Annie. The first vet we tried actually seemed scared of her, although she is not at all aggressive. I'm SO glad we decided to look elsewhere! From the very first time we took her in, everyone was so great with her - while she loves humans, she's not well socialized, and they are always so helpful with making sure the waiting room is clear and getting her into a room right away so that we don't have to worry about the inevitable encounter with another dog. At this point she has been seen by Dr. Allori, Dr. Achille, AND Dr. Zimmerman, and has probably met most of the techs/support team as well. No matter who her appointment is with, I know that she's going to get great care, and that she will be treated like one of their own pets. Today I was in the waiting room while she was taken back for her boosters, and I could hear several of the staff talking to her and loving on her while she was getting her shots - it made me feel like they genuinely enjoy seeing her, and love her almost as much as I do! I can't say enough good things about this clinic - along with the great service and care to your pet, the prices are reasonable for the service they provide - especially of you enroll in their Care Clinic, which includes many basic services.

We love love love love Dr. Zimmerman. He's the best. And I've seen alot of other vets prior to finding him and he is by far alot more patient, knowledgeable, friendly and not trying to rip you off or recommend unnecessary procedures or shots etc. We even moved away and I still make the haul to him whenever we need vet help. He really puts the pets needs on top of everything else and that what matters most. All of past and current furr babies also love him.
